Trevino's role as Hispanic Ambassador is to get the young Hispanic youth involved in activities and keep them interested in their culture. She also hopes to diminish the negative stereotypes people have of Hispanics. Religion plays a big role in her life. Her Baptist parents have a church in Willmar, Minnesota and as long as she's known, they've always been Baptist, not Roman Catholic.
