Get my shoes in.
Out the door.
Five.
I'm lost.
Six.
Seven.
Eight.
Feels great.
I'm gonna shine.
After I do what I'm gonna do.
I do it again.
Yeah.
Look at the sky with the beautiful color.
But never just for me.
You gotta share it with another.
I got to show, to give.
Let I want singing show.
Take a look and say a beautiful morning that turns into a beautiful evening.
And together make beautiful art.
And if you wanna see that, come along with me.
That's right.
Welcome to Experience Michiana.
We have a special show for you today.
Back in 2016, an energetic and thoughtful Kelly joined the show, helping to take over for Gordon.
Over the years, Kelly has shown her passion for this community and the desire to lift others up by giving them a voice on Experience Michiana.
This year, you haven't seen Kelly on the show much.
The last time was actually back in May, and that's because she is fighting some major health issues.
Many of you may know that Kelly was diagnosed with cancer a number of years ago.
Part of that battle the last couple of years is nerve damage from the cancer and extreme nerve pain.
We wanted to let you know she is still fighting, but could really use your prayers right now.
Along with her husband Todd, daughters Mia and Zoe, and her son Justin to lift her spirits and hopefully yours.
We're going to focus today's show on Christmas music, something she really loves.
We're going to start the show.
Looking back at some of the music Kelly and her family and friends have shared over the last nine years.
We love you, Kelly.
This is for you.
That's it for this week's show.
Next week, the Bergen joins us and shares part of their South Shore Christmas concert from the Morris.
Have a great week, everybody.
