THIS ONE IS BASED ON AN EXCAVATED EXAMPLE FROM TIDEWATER VIRGINIA, AND IT WAS, THEY THINK, THROWN IN THE GROUND ABOUT 1700 OR 1720.
WELL, GOOD PEDIGREE.
EARLY AMERICAN OR BRITISH.
NOW, THIS LOOKS LIKE THE BLANK.
YEAH, IT IS.
NOW, WE TALKED ABOUT THE OTHER TWO HOLDFASTS EITHER BEING JUST BENT AND UPSET OR A THICKER PORTION BENT.

THIS ONE, IF YOU LOOK AT THE SIDE OF THIS STOP, YOU'LL SEE THE TABLE IS THINNER THAN THE STEM.
