Let's spend some time with one of our neighbors!
(upbeat jazz music) - Hi my name is Gavin and I'm going to learn a magic trick from my friend Jonathan!
- Hi Jonathan!
- Hey Gavin!
How are ya?
- Good.
Can you teach me a magic trick?
- Good to see you!
Of course!
Today we're going to do a trick that uses crayons.
We have a whole box, but we only need... three.
I'm going to hand you the crayons.
What I want you to do is you're going to place one of the crayons into my hand and take the other two and hide them.
So now, I'm going to attempt to read... your mind!
(singing the Twilight Zone theme song) You chose... the red crayon!
Huh...
what?!
Would you like to learn that trick?
- Sure.
- Awesome.
So, the secret move behind my back is I take the thumb and I actually run it along the edge of the crayon.
When I do the magical gesture, I can look at my thumb and I see you picked red.
And you get to pretend that you read their mind.
Pretty cool, huh?
Nice.
You wanna try it?
- Put one of those behind my back in my hand - Ok, alright.
No peeking!
and hold on to the others.
♪♪♪ Your crayon was... blue!
- (gasps): You're right!
How did you do that?
Gavin!
Gavin!
Gavin!
They're down here too, you're on the jumbotron now!
- Thanks for teaching me a magic trick!
- Of course, you can take these with you and practice at home.
- Okay!
Thanks for coming, neighbors!
Bye!
♪♪♪ - I like these visits with you!
