[upbeat music] - We're from the Sanibel Sea School, and today we are making a life-sized sand sculpture of the biggest fish in the ocean, the whale shark!
♪ ♪ Whale sharks eat tiny animals called plankton that are floating in the water.
They are filter feeders, using their gills to catch food in the water.
The biggest fish in the ocean eats tiny, tiny things.
♪ ♪ Whale sharks grow to be over 50 feet long.
That's bigger than a school bus!
♪ ♪ Whale sharks are huge, 50 feet long, but they are really, really peaceful.
