That's not good enough.
It has to be the whole band, or else Max won't be convinced to stay.
(banging on door) - Who are you?
- Hm I'm Goji Berry.
- Oh!
Oh come in, Uncle Goji!

- Thanks for doing this, Blueberry.
Has Grapette made it yet?
She always liked to get to the venue early.
- Ummm - Th-this is not the venue Uncle Goji.
This is The Clubhouse.
The concert will be at the pavilion down by the lake.
- Well I'll wait here for Grapette, and we can all head down together.
- O-Oh.
Okay.
Uh.
(discordant note) Sophie, if Uncle Goji finds out that Grapette isn't coming, there will be no concert at all!
And if Max spots a single Jam, the surprise will be ruined!
- Well, this is all too much.
What'll we do?
- You go find Max.
Make sure that Max stays away from the Clubhouse and the pavilion.
I want you on her, like stink on a sock.
- Got it.
- I'll work on Grapette.
- Ugghhh.
I'm in a real sticky jam now!
(Blueberry screams) ♪ Blueberry's Clubhouse.
♪ ♪ Blueberry's Clubhouse.
♪ ♪ Blueberry's Clubhouse.
♪ (Melba squawks) - A few more Melba.
(Melba munching) Let's see what's next on the list.
(paper scrunching) Well, that was it Melba.
Feeding you is the last thing on my list.
Well, hey Sophie.
- Hey Max.
- What are you up to?
- I just wanted to see how your day was going.
- Oh, it's going good.
Is blueberry with you?
- Uh um.
No.
Uh.
I think she went hiking.
- Well, that's weird.
I asked her earlier if she wanted to go on a hike and she said no.
(Melba squawks) - Oh look that cloud looks like a flamingo!
- Where?
I don't see it.
- Oh right.
It looks more like an emu.
So, what are you gonna do, since you're not coming back to camp?
- Well, my mom wants me to get a summer job, but I don't.
(Melba squawks) - My shoelace is untied Max!
(characters whoosing) - Sophie, you don't have shoe laces.
- Um just tighten the Velcro?
(thunder rumbles) (Melba squawks) - I think you better be heading back to the Clubhouse.
- Oh no, no, no, no.
Let's just stay here and feed Melba a little bit longer.
- She's already had a lot of food Sophie.
(thunder rumbles) (Melba munches) - Oh oh.
Oh!
- What are you all still doing here?
The concert is supposed to be at the pavilion.
- Oh no pavilion show today, Blueberry.
There's a storm a-brewin'.
Too dangerous.
- Oh.
- You know, I once played a retirement party during a volcano eruption.
(Goji Berry laughs) Never again.
- Uh o-okay.
I guess.
- Is Grapette here yet?
I can't wait to see her.
- Oh, oh Carol!
Oh, Carol.
We're moving the concert to the Clubhouse.
- The Clubhouse?
- Mhm.
- Because of the storm.
So, I need you and Sophie to get the musicians set.
- Where are you going?
- Well I have to go find the guest of honor.
- Oh, Max is right outside.
(Blueberry gasps) - WHAT?
Oh well uh.
Come with me, Carol.
You have to keep Max from coming in.
- Oh, hey Blueberry.
- Hey Max.
Bye Max.
- You okay Max?
(Max nods head) You sure?
- I-I've been coming to Camp Onomatopoeia for a long time, and now I'm just supposed to not come here anymore?
What am I supposed to do?
- You're off to bigger and better things.
- It's just, what if everybody just forgets about me.
- Max, I've been running this camp a long time.
- How long?
- That's not important.
(intense thrumming) But what is important, is I've seen a lot of campers come and go.
And you, you're one of a kind, kid.
No one's forgetting about you, Max.
- Thanks Carol.
- Wouldn't it be great if I could just find a job here at camp.
- Hm.
(Carol gasps) Max!
- Hey!
Excuse me!
What are all you people doing here?
Who are you?
- We're the Jams!
- The Jams?
The Jams!
- Well, what are you doing here?
- My niece Blueberry invited us.
- It's a going away concert for you, Max.
- Blueberry did all of this?
- So uh where's Grapette?
Is she down at the mess hall?
- Blueberry's gone to talk to her, but I don't think she's coming.
(dramatic horn) - If there's no Grapette, there's no Jams!
- Okay.
Okay.
They'll be back.
Do what you do.
Get tuned?
(guitar thrumming) Wait!
(thunder rumbling) - Huh!?
- Don't worry Sophie, if there's anyone who could get the job done, it's Blueberry.
(suspenseful music) (drum beating) (Blueberry tiptoes) (Blueberry and Grapette scream) - Security!
Security!
- No, no, no its me!
Blueberry.
We talk on the periscope.
Is there a way to put this thing on auto pilot?
- What?
- Grapette, we have to get the Jams back together!
- It isn't that easy little Berry.
I haven't spoken to Goji in- - Yeah.
Yeah.
20 years.
- Ugh your uncle and the rest of the band don't want anything to do with me.
They think I left them behind.
- No.
No they don't.
Uncle Goji knew there was only room on stage for one Jam.
He chose not to play, so you might get your big chance.
You being happy was all Goji Berry wanted.
- I had no idea.
- Why didn't you just talk about it?
- Have you ever had feelings inside that were just too big to express?
- No.
- Like if you said them out loud, they might just make things worse.
- This is my best friend's last summer at camp.
Today is her last day.
I've been so sad that she's leaving, I haven't seen her at all.
I've been too busy planning this concert and, and I thought maybe if I got the Jams to play, Max wouldn't leave.
But she has to, she's grown up.
- I'm sorry to hear that, but saying it out loud, sounds like you've grown up too.
- Yeah.
- What are you doing here?
There's still time to see her.
- Oh, I can't believe I wasted my whole day planning a concert that isn't going to happen.
- Oh.
- Uncle Goji refuses to play, if you aren't there.
- Same old, Goji.
- Hmm.
(thunder roars) - Ah!
- Ahhh!
Grapette's not coming.
And the Jams don't play without her.
- She'll be here.
Blueberry'll come back.
Just, just give her a few more minutes.
- I don't know Max, half the jams are crowded outside in the rain.
Maybe I should go look for her.
- But Blueberry always comes through.
- Oh, that storm sure is gettin' loud.
- Loud?
Loud!
That's what we're missing.
Max wanted to listen to the Jams turned up loud.
Down Periscope!
- That mic sure is nice, but I don't play without Grapette.
- Blueberry's out in the rain, and your music will guide her home.
(melancholy guitar) - You heard them gang.
Let's bring that Berry home!
(jazz music) (The Jams play together) (The Jams' riff continues) (dissonant chord) - Terrance, save some for the show.
Be cool mate.
- Max!
Sophie!
- [Max And Sophie together] Blueberry!
- Blueberry I'm so glad to see you.
Are you okay?
- I had to see you on your last day, Max.
I'm sorry I ignored you all day.
- Oh that's okay, Blueberry.
You got the Jams back together again!
This is the best day ever!
- Well they're not back together, yet!
(everyone gasps) - Grapette!
- Grapette!
You came!
- Are you kidding?
I wouldn't miss a rocking show with my favorite flute player.
- Flautist!
(everyone laughing) - What do you say, Goji?
Is there a room enough in this clubhouse for the both of us?
- Huh!
Mhm.
- Huh.
- Thank you, Blueberry.
For all your help today.
- Play another song!
(The Jams play rock tune) ♪ I've got this friend.
♪ ♪ Who's mine all mine, ♪ ♪ my number one, my partner in crime.
♪ ♪ Do everything together all the time ♪ ♪ and help me to get out of every vine.
♪ ♪ I don't wanna think about leaving this ball ♪ ♪ but when the summer comes again, well be having a ball.
♪ ♪ I've got this friend who could do it on her own.
♪ ♪ I've got this friend who's playing his own song.
♪ ♪ I've got this friend that makes me feel better ♪ ♪ and you know we do it better when we do it together.
♪ (The Jams' instrumentals continue) (music slows) - What's wrong Blueberry?
You did it!
- Yeah, I know.
But it's still Max's last day, and I know it's good to grow up, but I'm gonna miss you, Max.
- I'm gonna miss you too, Blueberry.
But the only grownups who stay at camp are counselors.
- Well, I have been thinking.
- Tell me (rake scratching) (bubbly music) - [Blueberry] Oh wow!
- You're going to make a great junior counselor, Max.
- We're gonna visit you every day at the Max Shack!
- Thanks, Blueberry.
- Can you move it little to the left?
- You bet.
You're left or my left?
- [Blueberry] Oh uh.
Yours.
- Okay.
- Oh, now, now it's perfect.
- All right.
Good.
- Well, all right lets clean it up.
Clean up, clean up.

- I love that song.
- [All Together] Clean up.
Cleaning up.
- I can't believe it.

- You missed a spot over here.
