Learn Moreabout PBS online sponsorship(soft music) - Hi, I'm Ms. Katie Leigh.
I'm an art teacher, friend and a creative.
While you were distance learning from home, your brain was working overtime to process your new classroom, your new schedule, and even a few unlikely classmates.
Your exceptional brain deserves a rest and a safe space.
A safe space is easy to create.
It could be the corner of your room, under a blanket, or simply closing your eyes.
In your safe space begin calming your brain by taking three slow and controlled deep breaths.
Tell your trusted grownup about your safe space and remember to return to it the next time your brain needs a rest.
See you next time.
