It is one of her favorite things to do.
So I've tried to make the most of these trips.
First, we browse the kids and young adult section to see if anything grabs our attention.
We'll look at the cover and talk about what we see.
Do you know about Amelia Bedelia?
I help her find books about topics she's interested in.
It's a way to keep her excited about reading.
We also get different kinds of books.
Reading a variety of stories can help build up a child's vocabulary.
Once we find our books, we check out other parts of the library.
She likes playing educational games online, which is a good way to review what she already knows.
I hope our time at the library will lead to a lifelong love of reading.
