How are U.S. cities who already feel extreme heat managing during the climate crisis?

Phoenix, AZ experienced over a hundred days of 100 degree weather. The mayor of Phoenix describes new urban technologies that the city is implementing to battle the dangers of extreme heat. And at an even more local level, two researchers from the State University of Arizona are going into elementary schools to offer feasible, actionable heat-preparedness strategies for teachers and students.
