Such feelings of hopelessness can happen to anyone.
But most people thinkin of suicide want to stay alive.
They are in crisis, and you can help by being alert to clues that things aren't right.
Show you care and invite them to talk openly.
Asking directly about suicide will not give someone the idea.
So don't be afraid.
Ask.
Listen.
Keep them safe and connect them with people trained to help.
