[FLOYD DEWITT] We've been giving to public television for a couple of decades now.
For a long time.
We didn't even know it was, being broadcast here in the Magic Valley.
So when we got a new television set, it was an auto program, and suddenly, public television was on.
I can't tell you the exact year that was.
I would guess, early to mid 90s.
But we've been friends of Idaho Public Television since then.
[CAROLYN DEWITT] And our children have been quite involved with Idaho Public Television.
Our son in law and daughter have answered the phones for the festival and our son Chris, he won October picture of the month with the moose up at Loon Lake.
[FLOYD] He waited roughly 40 minutes for that moose to be exactly centered in the photo.
It takes money to put these programs on and we want to do our part.
As, Ron Pisaneschi points out, this is television on the honor system, and, there's an old saying, “If you want a dance, you gotta pay for the music.” Well, it might look like a television screen.
It really is a picture window for us.
It's a window to the world.
So I am, I love Idaho Public Television.
Ill just put it that way.
[CAROLYN] And I love Idaho Public Television as well.
And our families do.
[FLOYD] And we even love each other.
[TOGETHER] I'm Carolyn, I'm Floyd.
We're from Gooding, Idaho.
And that's our Idaho Public Television story.
We love it.
