Illinois Pioneers host David Inge sits down with Founder of Caring Black Men, Jeff Perkins. In 2008 he started what is now an annual event called the Conversation on Race. At about that same time his concerns over young men getting into trouble led him to gather a group of friends and family to talk about what might be done. The result was a mentoring program called Caring Black Men of Decatur.
