What?
Oh, cool.
Oh, I got it.
That was good.
Okay.
Oh.
Oh.
Okay, I got it.
Hey.
I'm sure.
Okay.
Well, okay.
Well, Okay.
Did you know that the glove.
Oh.
Hey, what do you say?
Are you ready to make our show today?
Hey, we had a great year.
What's on our show today?
We have puppets.
We have people.
We have places.
We have fun.
We are sorry.
We have music.
We got games.
We got you.
Hey, take it away.
Hey, how are you doing, Ray?
Oh, great.
Good morning.
Good morning.
It's so much fun to see you here.
I'm excited that we're here with their friends.
We're gonna make another show today.
How great is it that we get to come together and make a show together?
It's pretty remarkable.
It is pretty remarkable.
I'm remarking about it because it's so remarkable.
Makes sense.
Yeah.
We like to start the show off by asking you a couple of questions about yourselves.
We learn about the peopl who are playing with us today.
Here's the questions we ask today.
Today we want to know first of all.
Yeah.
Can you whistle?
I'm still learning.
Yeah.
Me too.
I'm not very good at it.
But anyways, the other thing we asked you is we wanted to know, would you rather play in the mud?
I take a bubble bath.
You have one choice.
You can say, hey, right now they say, hey, would you rather play in the mud?
Or would you like to g sit in this bubble bath?
Yeah.
Which one would you choose?
I would prefer to play in the mud.
You know.
And then the bubble bath I could do afterward, right?
Wait, no You said you can always choose.
I can only choose one.
I'm gonna roll around in the mud.
I'm with you, though, right?
All right, so let's find out what happened t when we asked our friends today.
Here is our view.
Our fun fact today.
Okay, here we go.
So, people watching today, we found out that only 40% of viewers who can't whistle would like to go.
And play in the mud.
Interesting.
We are in the minority there, right?
Most people wanted to go and sit in a bubble bath.
Well.
If they can whistle, we can't whistle.
Maybe that's what the difference is.
Neither one of us can really whistle.
Maybe everybody who can't whistle wants to go play in the mud.
I right?
Yeah.
That was a really good try.
This.
Hey.
Okay, here's what I'm going to do.
Yeah, I'm.
I'm going to go and, take a nap.
Okay.
And then I'm going to take a blood bath, and then I'm going to take a bubble bath, and then I'll be back.
It's only going to take me, like, one minute.
I love you guys.
All right.
You got here, right?
Yeah.
Okay, I got to go.
Bye.
So I was wondering.
I was thinking I could ask you a question.
I was wondering, what is your favorite cookie?
That's all I wanna ask right now.
You know, so was.
No.
I like lots of cookies.
I never made a cookie.
I didn't like technically.
Yeah, maybe you've got a few.
Your favorite recipe family recipe.
Maybe you found the recipe at the cookbook that you recently read.
Share with us.
I'd love to find out and se what your favorite cookie.
Me?
I'm a chocolate chip kind of alien.
Yeah.
The results are coming in to la la la la la la la la la.
That's the sound.
Four results are coming in de la la.
Salud.
Whoa!
Chocolate chips seems to be quite famously popular, with some people also liking peanut butter.
Thanks, friends.
Thanks for letting us know.
Hey.
Sorry.
Hey.
How's it going?
I'm doing really good.
I'm excited to play Crack the Code.
Here's how we play.
Crack the code.
We are going to speak in code.
So you really have no idea what we're talking about.
But we're going to use a word in place of another word.
So it's kind of like 20 questions but with an added twist.
So we're going to talk about an elephant, but we're not really talking about an elephant.
So story you go ahead and ask me questions about an elephant I'll let you know about the elephant.
You have to guess what we're really talking about.
So go ahead.
Okay.
Does an elephant weigh more than a duck?
You would think so.
But in this case, because you have to crack the code.
An elephant does not weigh more than a duck.
Is an elephant smaller than a loaf of bread?
An elephan is smaller than a loaf of bread.
You wouldn't expect it, but yes.
It's tiny.
It is.
Is an elephant an animal?
No.
An elephant is not an animal.
What?
I know it sounds crazy, but it's not.
Is an elephant something that you use every day?
There are many people who do use an elephant every day.
I would say, wow.
Many people.
Okay, maybe not everyone, but most.
Would you find an elephant in a school?
Yes.
You would probably find many elephants in school.
If you're looking for an elephant.
A school would be a great place to find an elephant.
Gee, I wonder what it is.
Would you use an elephant in gym class?
Probably not.
In gym class, you'd probably use it in other classes.
More so than gym.
Oh.
Might be dangerous in gym.
Oh.
Do you use an elephant when you take a test?
Yes.
It would be great to use when you're taking a test, especially if you're writing, because.
Because they're really good for writing.
You use an elephant to write?
Yes.
In school?
Yes.
It would be dangerous in gym class.
It would be dangerous in gym class.
What could an elephant be?
Because.
Is anyone cracking the code yet?
Is an elephant code for a pen?
No.
That's a very good guess, though.
You're on the right track.
It is not code for a pen.
Is it code for.
Hey, everybody, I know the answer.
What?
What you do, I think, is a pencil.
It is a pencil.
If you ever.
Yeah.
Okay.
Wow, Ray, crack the code.
Did anybody else crack the code we were talking about?
Oh.
Purple wizard.
Got it.
Good job, purple lizard.
Nice purple lizard wa the first one to get the pencil.
Nice job.
Thanks for playing.
Crack the code, everybody.
Thanks very.
Hey, so look at this name.
Ashley Delgado.
Now, how many words can you make using letters?
Only in the name.
Ashley Delgado.
So look at the letters.
Start thinking I see an ng, an then s right at the beginning.
That's the word as as I was saying.
What words can you make using the letters in the name?
Ashley Delgado let's see.
H I that's a word.
Hi.
Hi.
Hi.
I'm glad you're here.
A s h o. That's a word.
Ash.
Yeah.
That's when the fire burns down.
There's ashes.
That's plural.
Right.
I'm still learning English grammar, but I'm pretty sure.
Okay, so let's see.
D e. Do you.
Pardon me.
Play.
Exactly.
S l e I g h. That's a word.
Sant Claus loves to ride on a sleigh.
Yeah, I think slides are used in dog sleigh races, too.
D a l e I see it.
Thanks.
Pink seahorse.
What are their letters?
O teal deer found o h j l l. How did great works with o?
Ha ha!
That's a cultural reference from the 80s.
I'm doing some research whil traveling through outer space.
Gail G a l l thanks Pink horse.
Well, friends, you could write down a name yourself and play what's in the name?
Oh, boy, oh, boy.
I've been making some paper down with.
Betty to write.
Oh, man, this is great.
And I know, I know, I like to call them action figures.
What do you think?
Yeah, that's a good word.
Yeah, it's really fun.
Well, what do we have here, Betty?
For supplies?
Well, let's see, we have the colored pencils.
Oh, yeah.
Scissors and some tape and.
Well, you've just got a pile of junk over there.
Yeah, I love it.
That's some good stuff.
No, we got som pictures that we could cut out and tape actual photos on the heads of the dolls.
Hey.
Sorry.
I mean, each action figure.
Yeah, each action figure looks like a member of our family or one of our friends.
Now, you could even make some of your favorite celebrities by cutting their heads out of magazine pictures.
Yeah, it's just pretend.
We also could, make all.
Kinds of things.
You could make, like, a clown outfit, baseball.
Uniform, a chicken suit.
We made.
A bunch of silly.
Outfits.
Here.
Each doll is the same size, so you can change the outfits around however you please.
Mom, we're having a great time.
Pretending making.
Up silly stories.
Why don't you break out your art supplies and join in on the fun with your creativity and imagination?
I kno you'll have some great fun too.
Yeah, even if they are paper dolls.
Oh, I mean paper action figures.
Oh.
Hey, I was thinking we should.
Do a puppet show.
Oh, that's a great idea Yeah, let's take the elevator.
Okay.
We, Oh.
Hey there.
Lucy.
What's happening in the neighborhood today?
We're making puppets.
Hey, hey, how are you?
I'm good.
I'm ray, I'm from space.
Yeah, yeah, I'm a squirrel.
Everybody knows me.
Oh.
You're you're close.
Hello.
What's one word to start the phone?
Shrimp.
Shrimp?
Okay.
I love to eat shrimp.
I like to ride in the blimp.
Now, that's pretty good.
Team.
Today's ball.
Well, I actually, don't know what I sound like.
But I'm not.
I'm sam.
I'm producing.
This show.
They have not given me a voic yet, but I think this might be what I sound like when I say, how are you doing?
Yeah.
How are you doing?
I don't ever wear clothes.
I'm a squirrel.
Yeah.
How's it going, everybody?
I'm jack.
Lumber here.
Hey, do you see my dinner anywhere?
No dinner.
I'm hungry.
Have you ever made paper dolls?
Maybe you could make an official pork slice.
Junior paper.
Action figure.
Or a baddie?
Yeah.
Yeah, that's a good idea, too.
Okay, here it goes.
Kevin.
Damn.
I like so much fun.
It was amazing.
I saw me in there.
They did a puppet show.
And you were in there too.
I know.
I think I do.
I tell you what, why don't you make a box ice Junior puppet?
Oh, I'll make a Betty puppet.
Okay.
And we can do a puppet show ourselves.
Okay, let me se if I've got the voice all right.
Hey, there you go.
Hey, how you doing?
Hey.
That's tricky.
What are you talking.
Yeah.
What would you sound like as Betty?
I'd say.
Yeah.
Okay.
Park sighs junior.
That's a great idea.
I think you're joking.
You're done.
Yeah okay well let's do that okay okay.
That sounds like a really good idea Park sighs junior I can't wai to make more puppets with you.
Okay let's keep the show going though.
All right Yeah.
Let's play another game.
That on always makes me want to dance.
Yeah okay.
It's good dance.
Ready for time of one?
Here's how we play the game today.
We're looking for words that start with the letter M. Am I in the face?
It's either purple or yellow.
They're Tamir.
I'm typing as many words as you can.
We're gonna see which team wins.
Leader.
Mom, me yellow is in the lead but moon may be home in purple.
Come back!
I think mom is one of those words that probably deserves double points, right?
Yeah, I think so.
Oh, but look at her back on the back.
Mustache.
Might get double points too for me.
What's the mustache?
I don't know what that is.
It's a long word and it's hard to spell.
So I'm impressed.
That monkey monkey knife monkey mouse monkey mous monkey mouse baby monkey mouse.
Yeah.
Monkey mouse.
Loose mouse.
Moose.
Mouse Loose mouse.
Moves.
Mouse mouse.
All right, so the plural of moose is what?
That's a trick question.
I think I learned this one in English.
104.
Okay.
What is it, moose?
Yes.
The plural of most is most.
What is the plural of mouse.
That's coming up.
It's right.
Next 105105.
Team purpl just gave us the answer.
It's.
Oh I missed it.
I was busy thinking of 103 class.
So.
So moose is mouse.
Yeah.
Mouse is mice.
Oh.
Sometimes I feel mad as I try to figure all this out, but I don't give up.
I keep trying.
Now.
It's kind of crazy.
Oh, hey, look at that mermaid.
What is the plural of mermaid?
Okay, if the mermaid has more, the carry the one, then I think more than one mermaid is mermaid.
No.
Yes, you are correct.
It looks like Tea Yellow has got this one.
Purple.
You gotta come up.
Hurry up.
Come on.
Go to the do the game.
Look, they're making a comeback.
I think you did it.
Yep.
Yellow.
You did a good job, everybody.
Purple gave us the plural of mouse, so they get an extra point for that, too.
Nice job, everybody.
That was a great job with Tiger Pride.
Maybe we'll play again some time.
Yeah.
Let's do that.
Believe it or don't.
Get this is sort of something.
I love.
Idioms.
Idioms are phrases that you'd think mean one thing if you didn't know they've come to mean something else.
Like bird in the han is worth two in the bush today.
That's come to mean that if you have something already, be happy.
Don't push your luck wanting to have more and risk losing everything.
It's kind of like the game sho where you would have something and they'd say, okay, you have a prize.
This is really a great prize.
Fantastic luck.
Bedroom set.
Now you can keep this fantastic lacquered bedroom set, or you can trade it for what's behind that door over there.
And then you have to go, oh, I don't know.
Am I going to keep thi fantastic lacquered bedroom set?
There might be something better behind that door.
And then to add to the pressure, you'd have the whole crowd shouting what's behind the door, They get really excited about it.
And then after you made your choice, they would open the door and it might be an old cow.
Wow wow wow.
And now you've traded your fantastic lacquered bedroom set for home.
Oh.
Oh no.
Who knows, maybe some.
It was really, really looking goo for an old guy when they went, oh my gosh, you know the cow that's already old.
So I want to have to train it anyways.
But there' a chance they may open the door.
There's a brand new car.
Wow.
Oh, no.
Who knows?
Maybe you don't drive.
Point is, you never know what it's going to be hard to think that a car coul be set behind a door like that.
So really, a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.
If you're saying you've already caught a bird, hold on to that bird.
Because if you let go of the bird to try to run off and get a couple more, you might have no bird.
When you're done.
Dilbert.
So this dates back to when a young Daniel Danielson was running around with a bird in his hand and yelling, hey, I caught a bird!
But look there's a couple in that bush.
Let me let this bird down.
Oh, the way that bird in my hand was sure were worth a lot more than those two in the bush that got away.
Oh, the townspeople laughed at this foolish young Daniel Danielson for letting his greed get the best of him.
And that's how we got to.
Seeing a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush.
Believe it or don't.
Doesn't matter to me.
This is nice.
Okay, I'm not sure of how I feel.
Most people are not believe in this one.
And I think I'm, I think I'm I'm with him on that one.
Because here's the part that does make says we're trying to do the math, right.
Yeah.
I have a bird in my hand.
There's two in a bush.
A bird in the hand is worth more than.
Two in the bush.
Or is a bird in the hand worth two in the bush?
I think it's is worth more than two in the bush.
I think it's one less.
It's more like a bird in the hand is worth more than two in a bush.
And I guess that makes sense because I haven't found it.
I let go of it.
Now I don't have a bird because I went for two in the bush.
A bird in the hand is worth more than two in the bush.
I felt sad for the bird.
I do feel bad for the bird two but I believe it, I believe it.
I've changed my mind, I believe it.
Most people didn't believe it.
And I was also thinking, I really love cows.
I like cows too.
Yeah, I remember the earlier.
I would love to win a cow.
Yeah.
Oh.
Hey, counselor.
How you doing, buddy?
Good to see you.
Hey, hey.
Oh, and you brought a friend today.
Okay, so cow zilla, we got a show to do.
So, I think we should choose the door to see where we go from here.
I can't wait to see.
What are we going to do for my job?
What do I think they're going to choose?
I'm going to choose two today.
Two?
I don't pick one.
I'm going to choose one.
Right.
Let's see what everybody else.
The majority were all huge.
Yeah.
Then we'll find out what's coming next.
Oh yeah.
Something fun.
We should get a drumroll.
Going to go oh you're a great a drumroll.
How did you learn that.
I had band.
Oh that's fun I think we have a choice.
Oh, you want a can you tell?
I can't wait to see what happens.
How do you make a tissue dance?
I don't know, how do you make a tissue?
Probably in.
Like, a boogie in it.
I got so many.
Questions that should be dancing at home right now.
How do you make a tissue dance?
Put a bit of boogie in it.
I got a little boogie at me.
Look at me.
Happy dance.
How do you get dirty?
How does the dance get in the tissue?
Oh.
Good question.
Okay, here's a game we like to call.
Will it float?
Here's how you play.
We give you an item.
Today we're talking about a plastic toothbrush.
Then we just ask you if we pu a plastic toothbrush in water.
Do you think it's gonna float?
You see this?
What's your guess?
I just drag it.
There's a little hole in my shirt.
Oh.
I say, forgot to take you to the tailor.
No, I think I just.
I'll fix it.
Okay.
Hey, do you think that toothbrush would float in water?
Oh, sorry, I got distracted.
Yeah, I think a toothbrush would float.
Okay, we ask that because I'm.
Gonna find out.
What they thought, and then we're gonna roll the tape out right now, 71% think.
Yes, a toothbrus is gonna put water, 28% say no.
I think it's kind of sink.
What do you find out?
I can't.
Wow.
No doubt about it.
That very definitively dead float.
Yeah that was a really good phoner.
Yeah.
I thought for sure that maybe it would sink, but no, i floated.
No, no doubt about it.
It's fun to float.
I got to try that out myself.
I. Okay, good.
Yeah.
Wow.
It's time for us game.
Mattel we give you.
Thanks.
Dude.
You got two minutes t get it all done.
Are you ready?
We want you to figure that out.
Just think, if you could have any animal as a pet, what would it be?
Frog.
Then why don't you've come up with your pet?
You have to name your pet.
What would you name your pet?
Pete.
And then once you've done that, you're going to take your imaginary pet for a walk around the room.
Okay, what did you choose?
Right?
A frog named Pete?
A frog named Pete.
Yeah.
That's fun.
What?
The problems in the back yard.
Oh.
That's okay.
Yeah, I'm gonna take it for a walk.
All right, all right.
I'm gonna have a, this guy named taxi.
Yeah.
That's.
You are.
You're a taxi.
Yeah.
Okay.
Hey, I just came back.
We had a really great walk.
We saw some trees.
All right.
Are you taking your bag for a walk?
I might actually my pet taxi.
My pet hawk, whose name?
Taxi is taking me for a flight.
What's going on?
I hope everything's okay, though.
Right.
Taxi!
I got a little confused.
I'm not sure what.
Rover's on a taxi, but.
Hey.
Thanks.
Seahorse.
There's a. Cat.
Named Leif Shin.
Oh, thanks, Shin.
That's a really great name.
That's an awesome.
Day for a can I call.
Wow, what a pick a while a name.
And Kenny.
I love it.
And they say.
Peep, peep.
That's the sound they make.
Beep beep I giraffe name baloney.
Oh.
I love it.
That might be the best name for a giraffe who makes choices.
Oh.
A goldfish named fish.
Glub glub.
Nice.
I like that.
Too.
That would make a great pet.
And out of named Larry.
Hey, Larry, do you want to go for a walk with me?
Did you know that I was missing?
Where is Larry?
Oh, I wonder if I just like bubble baths or mud baths.
We should have asked.
Oh, be sure to ask your out if they would rather have a bubble bath.
Yeah.
Oh my.
Beth.
Okay.
They can't whistle while they work.
La la la la la la la.
You look inspired.
I am inspired.
I'm gonna go play in the mud.
Then I'm gonna ask my hawk to pull me out of the mu and bring me to a bubble bath.
Oh, okay.
That's my plan for the rest of the day.
What do you got planned?
Well, I come to go to the library.
Oh, yeah?
Yeah, I love going to both.
Can you talk?
Library in Grand Rapids?
Public library.
I like to travel around an get to know all the libraries.
Wow, what a fun night.
These are just the ones nearest me.
Which libraries are closest to your friends?
Well, you know.
I like to hang out in the tree library.
Oh, little tree libraries.
Yeah, little tree.
Libraries I do.
They're very fun.
I take a tree, leave a book, yo leave a book, you take a book.
It's a fine sister book there.
Book everywhere.
Book, book.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
What's a good time?
We're gonna have to today?
Oh, I wonder if I find any mysteries.
