After the fall of Saigon in 1975, thousands of Vietnamese refugees came to the U.S. When California governor Jerry Brown tried to stop them from coming to his state, Washington Governor Dan Evans was outraged, and sent word that refugees would be welcome in Washington. IN Close shares the stories of some of the people and families that came to the Northwest to start a new life after Vietnam.
