Learn Moreabout PBS online sponsorship- Hi, I'm Gabby.
I'm a comedian, a mental health motivational speaker, and one half of the Josh and Gab Show, a pro kindness rock and roll band.
And this is my teachable moment.
Today, I wanna talk to you about the ability to be silly.
Being silly has really helped me through different areas of my life.
It helps me focus and it's my form of meditation.
I even remember when I was a kid getting bullied in school, sometimes I would make a silly joke and it would distract the bully, or even make them laugh.
There are many different ways you can be silly.
You can make a silly sound while you're serving spaghetti.
(Gab slurps) Plop!
Maybe, when you're watching a television show, you can use the commercial breaks to have a silly dance party.
Do you ever wonder why kids jump up and down?
It's because it's fun.
The next time your kid is jumping up and down, go jump up and down with them.
You're gonna make them laugh so hard and you're gonna get an awesome workout.
Do you think you can add some silly into your life?
