Today I'm playing on the timbales, which are a Cuban instrument in Afro Cuban culture.
We're going to make our own timbales today.
The materials you're going to need are some decorative duct tape, scissors, 12-inch round balloons, some empty cans.
Cut the stem of your balloon off.
Put that right over your can.
You can then decorate the side of your drum.
[metallic drumming] Now you're ready to join our drum circle too.
