Jamyracle is an exceptional young woman whose life story is a testament to resilience, leadership, and a deep commitment to her community.
Jamyracle served as an Alabama Central District FFA Vice President and Marbury FFA student advisor among countless other leadership roles, all while holding a 3.1 GPA.
- Well, I've been attending Marbury High School for four years now.
This is my last year here.
I came from Billingsley actually to here after I lost my dad.
I moved here for a new start.
I lost my dad June 22nd, 2020, and I lost him to kidney failure and cancer.
So, being able to grow up around farming and grow up helping my dad on the farmer's market and my family, it kind of inspired me to do something for Black farmers 'cause I have a lot of family that farms and my dad farmed, and it kinda brings me this peace and awareness of my dad.
So, that's why I created the Alabama Black Farmers Collective to create a positive outlook on Black farming and farmers in the state of Alabama.
- With Jamyracle, no day is ever the same.
When she walks into my classroom, I have no idea what she's gonna say or what she's gonna sign me up for.
She's always doing great things.
She's a great representative of Marbury High School and Marbury FFA.
- Jamyracle, you know, is a great student.
She, first of all, is a great person and she's very lovable to be around.
She's always smiling, she's always involved in things.
- [Narrator] Jamyracle is a shining example of how adversity can be overcome with resilience and dedication to serving others.
She's a truly deserving candidate for recognition as one of Alabama Public Television's 2025 Young Heroes.
