In Jersey City, the price tag is already over a billion dollars
New Jersey has an infrastructure problem, and it's not just about roads and bridges. Sewer and water systems are at risk of failure and are in need of massive upgrades. The issue came to light during a hearing on Suez Water’s response to Hurricane Ida. Experts say major system upgrades are needed across the state - at a price tag well into the billions.
