Joy Adamson's first lion was a cub they named, Elsa. The experience of raising Elsa was released in a book, "Born Free" and later in a movie. Joy was murdered at her camp and the series of books about the couple's wildlife program ended. Knowing he might not ever see Joy's final resting place, along side Elsa, he and the crew head out to locate it.
