San Antonio's Southwest Research Institute has the highest-temperature CO2 turbine in the world. CO2 acts like a gas, but has the density of a liquid and is called a super-critical energy provider, because it is a highly efficient way to generate power. Small changes in temperature of pressure shift its density and increases energy efficiency by 10%.
