Kat Copeland, author of four books of poems, is an activist for the arts in West Texas.
Kat Copeland is the author of numerous books of poetry and art and one of the most widely known activists and advocates for the arts in West Texas. She has become a familiar figure at a broad representation of arts events in general and of writing in particular. A native of West Texas, she currently heads the Permian Basin Poetry and Allied Arts Society.
