The ever-expanding role of bio control in Montana's fight against noxious weeds.
Noxious weeds,especially invasive species, reduce ag production, increase soil erosion, and decrease wildlife habitat and recreational opportunities. Herbicides are often used to control weeds, but they can be expensive, and can have unwanted side effects. Melissa Maggio-Kassner, the State Biocontrol Coordinator for Montana's Department of Agriculture, joins the panel to give us an update.
