I remember just like always feeling super bothered that people were mean to the students with disabilities.
I was like, none of us can choose like what we look like, like when we're born or what abilities we have or what struggles we have.
We're just we're born and we all deserve like love and respect and kindness.
So it's just been a really great opportunity right now working in the extended resource program.
It's a mix of like academics, behaviors and students with like all sorts of disabilities and walks of life.
The other thing that's really important to me is like listening to my students.
Like they're actually super insightful about their own like, behaviors, their own like strengths, their challenges, like what they're working on.
So is like trying to like, figure out to them, like what's going on for you, you know, to try to get some, like insight into their brains, but then also just start building that like emotional intelligence.
