Annette Khaled and her team at University of Central Florida’s Burnett School of Biomedical Sciences are working on a new treatment for advanced breast, prostate, and lung cancer. This new technology targets a protein that is common in metastatic cancer that has never been targeted before, called chaperonin containing TCP-1 or CCT for short.
