Youth Code Jam helps get kids excited about computer science and builds STEM skills

Teaching upper elementary through high school students to code is the goal of a San Antonio program called Youth Code Jam. The program helps get kids excited about computer science and motivates them to aspire to tech-driven jobs of the future. Youth Code Jam emphasizes reaching girls, ethnic minorities, gifted students and teens with high-functioning autism and Asperger's.
