Learn Moreabout PBS online sponsorship[upbeat music] - Hola, I am Senora Rozo and I used to teach in Fayetteville, North Carolina.
Today, we will learn how to make one of the types of rocks that we can find in our planet.
Here on earth, there are three types of rocks, igneous, metamorphic, and sedimentary, which are made up of a lot of little pieces and form layers.
Let's create our own sedimentary rocks.
Grab some old broken crayons, a plastic container, and something sturdy to break them.
Take the pieces of crayon and apply pressure.
Put them in a plastic container, apply some pressure.
This pieces of crayons represent all types of rocks.
After some time and a lot of pressure, they become a sedimentary rock.
And don't forget, you rock.
