- My son doesn't always like writing, but he loves making cards.
Sometimes it's for birthdays or holidays or just to say hello, so we use this to practice writing.
Nice.
- Puff it.
- [Woman] First, we look at old greeting cards to get ideas.
He can see different writing styles, sentence structure, and the purpose of the card.
We then choose the one we like and talk about it.
- [Boy] This is my favorite one.
- [Woman] After that, we grab a piece of paper and make our own card.
I encourage him to write a sentence or two.
This is motivation to write and it's fun.
