Senator Mitch McConnell's team is facing growing pressure to reveal more about the Kentucky Republican's health.

The 84 year old McConnell was hospitalized in Washington, D.C., back on June the 14th after a month of speculation.

McConnell released a health update saying he suffered a fall and it also had to be treated for pneumonia.

His office sent out a picture of McConnell and his wife, former U.S.

Transportation Secretary Elaine Chao, at the hospital, along with this statement last week.

McConnell has not yet said when he would return to the Senate to resume his duties, leading to increasing pressure within the GOP to address leadership uncertainty.

The latest senators speak out.

Josh Hawley of Missouri, who told Fox News McConnell owes it to those he serves to be more transparent.

I don't know anything about McConnell's health because I have zero total in the dark.

And, you know, I certainly wish him well.

And his family.

I do think that up to a certain point, you have an obligation to citizens of the country to tell them what's going on, you know, so I, I can't do that for him.

I have five zero ideas.

I never have had any idea about any of his health stuff, but I hope that I hope he recovers.

But I also hope with the transparency out there and tell people, you know, the situation is his own.

We reached out to McConnell's office today for an update.

A spokesperson for the senator responded saying McConnell, quote, continues to improve and quote, and that there was nothing to add beyond last week's health update.
