The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention says “Prescription Painkiller Overdoses are a Public Health Epidemic.” More people died of an overdose in 2016 -- more than died in the entire Vietnam War. We’ll discuss how the trend of overprescribed opioid painkillers has led to their abuse - and - the abuse of illicit drugs like heroin.
