Dr. Sarat Praharaj was a graduate student in aerospace engineering when Apollo 11 landed on the moon. He remembers watching every bit of coverage available on television for the two days leading up to the landing and was elated by NASA's success. Praharaj later worked on aspects of the Space Shuttle.
