IT'S ATTAINABLE, AND YES, EVEN PRACTICAL, GERMAN LUXURY AT ITS FINEST.

BEST DREAM MACHINES ARE CLEARLY OUR MOST FUN AWARDS.
THEY GO TO THE CARS WE'D BUY IF WE UNEXPECTEDLY STUMBLED ACROSS A HEAP OF MONEY.
THE ACURA NSX NEEDS NO INTRODUCTION, AND STAKES WERE CERTAINLY HIGH WHEN HONDA DECIDED TO BRING THIS LEGENDARY JAPANESE TECHNO-EXOTIC BACK.
MANY WERE SKEPTICAL INCLUDING US.
WELL, THEY NAILED IT.
OUR NEXT DREAM MACHINE COMES FROM THE RAPIDLY EXPANDING MCLAREN LINEUP, AND IT MAY JUST BE OUR FAVORITE ONE YET.

Mark: SO WITHIN THE COLLECTION, I HAVE 61 VEHICLES THAT HAVE LESS THAN 100 ORIGINAL MILES.
Lauren: WHILE, THEY'RE FUN TO LOOK AT, THEY'RE EVEN MORE FUN TO DRIVE... EVERYTHING IN THE COLLECTION INCLUDING THIS 1966 FORD MUSTANG GT CONVERTIBLE IS IN WORKING ORDER.

Mark: THE AUTOMOBILE HAS GREATLY CHANGED AMERICA AS A COUNTRY, AND SO, I WANTED SAVE THAT PIECE OF AMERICAN HISTORY TO SHOW YOU KNOW, YOUNGER PEOPLE OF TODAY WHAT IT USED TO BE LIKE BACK IN THE '50s, AND '60s, AND '70s.
Lauren: WHEN YOU THINK OF MUSCLE CARS, YOU DON'T THINK ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY, BUT THIS MUSEUM IS!

CLOTH IS NICE BUT IT'S NOT VERY FORGIVING.
YOU SEE, IF WE USE ONE OF THESE VINYL ONES SUCH AS WE HAVE OVER HERE, WE LOOK AT THIS AND SEE THAT ITS MUCH THICKER, AND THAT MEANS WHEN YOU DROP A WRENCH OF SOMETHING IT DOESN'T DENT THE FENDER OR WHATEVER IT IS UNDER YOUR FENDER COVER.
ALRIGHT, ANOTHER THING WITH FENDER COVERS IS YOU DON'T WANT TO USE THEM AS A MAT TO LAY ON BECAUSE THEY'LL PICK UP DIRT FROM THE FLOOR AND THEN THEY INSTANTLY BECOME SAND PAPER INSTEAD OF A PROTECTIVE DEVICE.
NOW, ANOTHER THING A LOT OF PEOPLE DO IS THEIR GONNA DRILL A HOLE THEY DON'T WANT TO GET THE FILINGS ALL OVER THE FLOOR, SO THEY PUT THEIR FENDER COVER DOWN, NOW THE FENDER COVER PICKS UP ALL THESE THINGS, AND AGAIN YOU'VE GOT THE MATERIALS THAT GRINDS INTO YOUR PAINT.
ALRIGHT NOW, IF YOU HAVE CLOTH FENDER COVERS THEY NEED TO BE WASHED.
THEY NEED TO BE WASHED REGULARLY TO KEEP THE DIRT AND GRIT FROM DAMAGING THE PAINT.

* CROSSOVER UTILITY SALES CONTINUE THEIR RECORD SETTING WAYS, WITH A HOST OF NEW ENTRIES, PARTICULARLY THOSE SMALLER IN SCALE.
BUT IT'S ONE OF THE ORIGINALS THAT EARNED OUR AWARD FOR BEST SMALL UTILITY, THE HONDA CR-V.
IT ALREADY DID JUST ABOUT EVERYTHING RIGHT AND BOASTS THE SALES NUMBERS TO PROVE IT.
BUT WITH A WELL THOUGHT-OUT 5TH GEN REDESIGN, IT FILLS IN ALL THE GAPS; EVEN BRINGING BACK A VOLUME KNOB, AND ONCE AGAIN STANDS OUT IN AN INCREDIBLY COMPETITIVE SEGMENT.
OUR BEST LARGE UTILITY IS THE MAZDA CX-9, ANOTHER GENUINE STANDOUT, BUT FOR VERY DIFFERENT REASONS.
MAZDA TRADED IN A MARKET-LAGGING PREDECESSOR FOR AN EMOTIONALLY-STYLED, HAND CRAFTED PIECE OF AUTOMOTIVE MACHINERY THAT MOVES YOUR SOUL AS MUCH AS IT MOVES PEOPLE AND CARGO.
SOMETHING THAT DIDN'T CHANGE IS BEING A SEGMENT STANDOUT WHEN IT COMES TO HANDLING, AND ITS NEW TURBO-4 POWERTRAIN FITS RIGHT IN WITH THE SPORTY IMAGE.
EVERYONE LOVES A COME FROM BEHIND STORY, AND THE MAZDA CX-9s ZOOM-ZOOM SAGA IS HOLLYWOOD WORTHY.
JAGUAR HAS TRULY BEEN BRINGING THE RAZZLE DAZZLE OF LATE, SO IT MAKES SENSE THAT THEIR FIRST UTE, THE F-PACE, WOULD EARN OUR BEST LUXURY UTILITY AWARD.
THE F-PACE STANDS OUT IN THIS VERY CROWDED CATEGORY WITH THE STYLE, LUXURY AMENITIES, AND AIR OF EXCLUSIVITY THAT WE EXPECTED, BUT ALSO WITH SOME SERIOUS PERFORMANCE CREDENTIALS THAT WE DIDN'T.
IT WOULD HAVE BEEN REALLY EASY FOR JAG TO JUST RE-BADGE A LAND ROVER AND CALL IT A DAY, AND IT PROBABLY WOULD HAVE BEEN VERY SUCCESSFUL.
BUT THE F-PACE IS BASED ON THEIR OWN XE SPORT SEDAN CHASSIS, AND IS ANOTHER BIG HIT FOR THE RE-BORN BRAND.
