Nature Cat: What a beautiful relaxing day with nature!
Squeeks: Sure is, Nature Cat!
Daisy: Ahh Love it!
Hal: Ahh what she said and what she said, baby!
Nature Cat: Absolutely nothing could stop this relaxing feeling!
Squirrel: Ohh watch out people!
Coming through!
Nature Cat: I've got to stop saying that!
Rabbit: Outta' my way!
Animals: Look out!
(BOING!)
(THUD!)
(SLAM!)
Daisy: What's all the excitement?!
Squeeks: Heya, Norman!
What's all the hubbub, bub?
Norman: It's game over, man!
GAME OVER!
(knocks) Hal: Ding-dong!
Ding-dong!
It's Hal!
This is my home!
Is anyone there?
Squirrel: NO!
GO AWAY!
THERE'S NOBODY HOME!
Hal: Yep yep, okay well, nobody's home, guys.
Heh Heh let's move it out ... (knocks loudly) Squeeks: Open the door!
We know you're in there!
(grunts) Nature Cat: Friends!?
Could someone please answer one question?!
Hal: Uh, did everyone wipe their feet?
Animals: Yes Nature Cat: Okay, two questions.
The other one being - what is going on?!
Norman: We're hiding in here because we're scared and need protection!
Nature Cat: In need of protection?
Nature Cat: What do you need protection from?
For I am not scared of ANYTHING!
Norman: A porcupine.
Nature Cat: Ahhhh!
A PORCUPINE?!
Nature Cat: Where?!
Norman: There's been a sighting in the woods, right near your house!
Daisy: Protection from a porcupine?
Why?
Norman: The quills on their backs are like sharp needles!
And porcupines can even shoot them at you from way far away!
Like this!
Norman: Zing-zing-zinggity-zing Nature Cat: Ahhh!
P-p-please don't do that Norman!
Norman: Sorry.
Anyway we're hunkering down in Hal's doghouse to stay safe.
Squeeks: Oooh!
That does sound scary!
Are you 100% sure it was a porcupine?
Norman: No.
Nature Cat: Phew!
Norman: I'm 200% sure!
Nature Cat: AHHH!
Daisy: Interesting...
I met a porcupine once.
I walked by him and said-- Daisy: Beautiful day.
Daisy: And then he said-- "Yep".
Daisy: Anyway, he seemed nice and did not shoot his quills.
Squeeks: Well once I was in the forest... Squeeks: CHEESE!
Squeeks: ...and I found some loose quills lying on the ground all casual like.
Sure looked like they could have been shot from a porcupine's back.
I don't want to make assumptions but...come on...
Nature Cat: I saw one once!
He was terrifying!
Nature Cat: AHHH!
Nature Cat: I still have nightmares about it!
Norman: Running away was the right move!
Once my great uncle was hiding nuts for the winter when a porcupine shot quills at him!
My uncle ran away in a heap of pain!
AND IT COULD HAPPEN TO YOU, TOO!
(dramatic gong) Squeeks: Sorry, just trying to amplify the dramatic effect... eh, too much?
Daisy: Maybe my porcupine didn't shoot his quills 'cuz he didn't want to.
Or maybe they can't shoot their quills at all.
Or maybe they can!?
Awe boy, I don't know!
All I do know is that we're all scared of something we've never seen happen.
Norman: Well we're not taking any chances, we're staying put.
Hal: Okay, I understand, but I just have one slight question and a follow up: How long will you stay in here?
And for the follow up: How long will you stay in here?
Norman: Forever!
Hal: Well forever can't be that long, so you can all stay, just to be safe.
Daisy: Whoa, whoa, whoa, okay, Before you take in every animal, Hal, we should get to the bottom of this.
It's time for a little scientific investigation!
Oh yeah, oh yeah!
