Um, but one small question.
What is Earth Day?
- Oh Hal.
It's the day we celebrate nature and set an example for protecting the environment.
- Oh, okay.

(gasps of amazement) What say we go on a nature hike over to Butterfly Hills?

I hear the wildflowers are starting to bloom.
- And I hear that the butterflies are butterflying.
(laughter) It's what they do, wink wink.
- I'm so in.
Bring it on to Butterfly Hills.
Bring me down to the hills.
I'm gonna see the butterflies.
- Haha, to Buttefly Hills!

- Don't worry guys, I got this.

These plastic bags are so annoying.
- Here, let me help too.

(everyone cries out) Rudzies?
- That's the supermarket where our family shops.
- I'm sorry, but plastic bags blowing in the breeze is just not right.
- Agreed, Nature Cat.
And I've seen so many of these bags floating around here lately.
- They're messing up the beauty of nature.
No fair!
- Viva la nature!
- Haha!
We're not going to let a plastic bag ruin our Earth Day!
You've seen your last days blowing in the wind and messing up nature, mister!

Now it's back to our Earth Day hike.

(crash) Another plastic bag?

(mischievous music) (click) - (growls) Plastic bags!
- There's one too too also.
(cheeping) - (screams) Viva la nature!
- Agreed, Squeeks.

Only one thing to do.
Bag those bags for Earth Day!

- Let's do it.
- Phew.

(cheeping) - A bag from Mart O'Mart, House Station, and oh man oh man, another bag from Rudzies.
- Rudzies!
- I can't believe all this plastic waste.
- And it somehow ended up all the way out here.
- This has to end!
These bags cannot blow freely through nature anymore!
Not on our watch.
We need to do something about these plastic bags!
- Yeah.
What's the plan, Nature Cat?
- I, uh...
I really didn't get that far in my thought process.
Heh, I was just kinda brainstormin' a little bit, spit ballin'.
- I have an idea.

- But what about the bags that come after the bags we pick up?
- Good point, Daisy.
- It's too bad we just can't go to Rudzies and other stores and tell 'em about their bags.

Let's start with Rudzies and show them where their bags end up and how bad they are for nature and then maybe they can do something!

- We need to get into the store and show them what their bags are doing.

(heavy breathing) - We lost 'em.
Okay, now what do we do about the plastic bags?
- Too bad people just can't put their groceries in some kind of big pouch like that guy.
- Hey yeah, that's it Hal!
You're a genius.
- Again?
I mean, how many times a day could someone be a genius?
So exhausting.
- I'm on it!
Perfect.
A cloth sack, Nature Cat style.
They can put their groceries in a sack like this and use it over and over and over again.
- And never have to throw it away.
Love it!

- Hey, listen you guys.

I mean, bababababa you guys gotta make up your minds here.
- [Voiceover] You know, plastic bags are just not good for nature.

- We planted a butterfly garden and we cleaned up a marsh.

- They used to use these plastic bags at the supermarket, and now they use these.
