For example: Saturn will be in a conjunction with the Moon at the end of this week, so let s watch the planet s progress!
Hit the skies around midnight every night this week and look South.
On the right you ll see the waxing gibbous moon, and on the left is Saturn (and Jupiter even farther left!).
Check again each night and you ll see the moon approaching the Planets!
Saturn is the furthest planet we can see with our naked eye.
It takes 30 years to orbit the sun once, and on August 1 will be at Opposition, when it s closest to Earth and brightest for us!
Watch the planets night after night to really get to know the sky, and Keep lookin up!
