- Greetings, agents.
I'm Oscar with today's Odd Report.
And this is my new lab coat.
You can tell it's new, because I just said it was.
Now, let's take a look about what's going on around town.
As you can see, we have patches of invisibility here, here and here.
Also, there's some low-flying watermelons forming from the west.
Yeah, a real problem, and it's a doozy, is that there's a double storm forming here.
Now, anything the storm hits, that thing is gonna double.
When you double a number, you add that number to itself.
So let's take the 2 gerbils at the Johnson house.
O'Connor, can we bring up a picture?
Sweet!
2 plus 2 gerbils is 4 gerbils.
No biggie, the Johnsons might even think this is kind of cute.
But if the storm sticks around for any longer, things are gonna keep doubling.
And when you keep doubling a number, that number gets big fast.
4 gerbils plus 4 gerbils is 8 gerbils.
Add 8 to itself: 16 gerbils.
Double 16?
32 gerbils.
Double 32?
64.
Double 64?
128 gerbils!
Which is why we're asking all agents who aren't already on cases to help out with this.
And bring gerbil food.
And a banana just in case you happen to come across a monkey or if you get hungry.
I'm just saying, anything could happen.
