Music Conductor Andres Lopera brings his electric style to the Metropolitan Youth Symphony.
Music transformed the life of Andres Lopera. Born in a small town in Colombia, he joined the town band at age 11. Soon he was touring the country and making connections that eventually led to a Masters Degree in Conducting at the New England Conservatory of Music. Today, as musical director and conductor at the Metropolitan Youth Symphony, he brings the gift of music to hundreds of young people.
