A unique school in Vancouver teaches blind adults piano restoration and tuning.

The Vancouver-based “piano hospital” has been teaching blind adults the art of piano refurbishing and tuning since the 1940s. We follow South-African student Dewald van Deventer as he tunes and restores a piano for Vancouver’s “Keys to the City” – a program that places pianos around town for the community to play.
