We hike the backwoods of the Northeast Kingdom in search of beaver ponds teeming with Vermont's favorite fish, the native brook trout. Then we visit Alburg Dunes State Park to learn what makes it such a unique place. And we spend a day hauling in nets full of fish on Lake Champlain as part of the Vermont Fish and Wildlife Department's study of Northern pike.
