‘We do the same thing as any other preschool or kindergarten; we’re just outside’

A nontraditional school is giving children the chance to do their learning outdoors. Maplewood Outside School holds preschool and kindergarten classes in the forest, rain or shine. The curriculum includes lessons typically taught in the classroom while letting children experience the environment firsthand.
