Father Flanagan of the famed Boys Town is vetted for sainthood.

Nearly sixty years after his death, Monsignor Edward Flanagan of the famed Boys Town (Omaha) is being vetted for sainthood. The Vatican recently agreed to review the judiciously collected historical documents and personal testimonies pertaining to the Catholic priest's life. Making a saint is no easy process, but it is rich with ancient traditions and Monsignor Flanagan could be Nebraska's first.
