(dramatic music) - Oh, wait, I haven't told you the most important thing about being a king.
- What is it.
- You must be kind.
(gentle music) - Kind?
- Yes.
(upbeat music) - [Interviewer] What does kindness mean to you?
- It means that you're playing with friends nicely.
- [Interviewer] And with your sister?
- [Both] Um-hm.
- [Interviewer] Yeah, do you think you guys are very kind to each other?
- Um-hm.
- Sometimes.
- [Interviewer] What does kindness mean?
- It means that you're always there to help someone.
- You would comfort somebody or you would make them feel good about who they are.
- You're my best friends, come on, bring it in (laughing).
(all cheering) - Being nice to people and never choosing to be a bully.
- To be kind you have to be generous.
- Do you want this treat?
It's a banana bread muffin.
- Oh, thank you, thank you, thank you, Daniel.
- [Interviewer] How do you show kindness?
- If somebody needed an extra pencil you can give it to them if you have another one.
- If somebody's on the ground crying.
- Twirl-a-whirl, twirl-a, ow.
- You have to pick them up and say, are you okay?
- Like give them a hug or give them some ice cream.
- What's that behind your back?
(bell rings) (animated character purrs) - [Interviewer] Would that make them feel good?
- No, happy.
- [Interviewer] Oh, happy.
- [Child] What are some ways you show kindness?
- And don't forget to be kind.
(musical strumming)
