In Africa, "Shuga" Leads The Way In HIV Advocacy Among Youth

Launched in 2009, "Shuga" is a TV series airing on Africa's MTV Base as part of a campaign to spread the message about responsible sexual behaviour and HIV tolerance among the youth. The show became a runaway hit, airing in 70 countries worldwide including 22 African nations.The Partnership for an HIV-Free Generation's Lydia Murimi speaks with the NewsHour about the breakout series.
