- Woohoo!
I mean Eid Mubarak!
- Every year, we bring this silver tray covered with... - Almonds, olives, apricots.
- I love apricots!
- Then let's add... - More!
- Are those honey cakes?!
- Should we add... - More?
More, more, more please!
Ah!
Maybe not so much goat cheese.
- But before we go, a really, really important Eid al-Adha tradition-- - I like that last tradition because it involves food.
- Dividing the meat into three equal parts.
- Yes!
Meat division!
- One, one, one.
Two, two, two!
- You used fair sharing on your Halloween adventure.
- We divided up candy, right?
- Was I in that one?
- Every year, we keep one third of the meat.
- One third is...?
- When you've got three equal parts of something, each part is a third.
- We give one third to our neighbors and one third to someone with less.
- Less what?
- Someone who doesn't have enough food or clothes, the basic stuff that everyone needs.
Uh, Amir, the fair sharing doesn't look so fair.
- I put the same number of meatballs in every bowl!
- But they're all different sizes, so one bowl has more meat than the others.
- If we don't divide it into three equal parts, this won't be the best Eid al-Adha ever!
- (Amir and Yasmina): WE'VE GOT A BIG PROBLEM!
- Yes!
A pan balance!
- Where?
- You used one when you were visiting Cleopatra.
- With the pans that balance!
I knew that.
- We can use the pan balance to divide the meatballs into three groups that weigh the same!
- Then, there will be the same amount of meat in each bowl.
- (Peg): This pan goes down because this bowl has more meat.
It's heavier.
- But we can take from more and give to less until... - They weigh the same!
- These two weigh the same too!
- They all weigh the same!
- Eid Mubarak!
- And so... - ♪♪ Problem solved ♪ - ♪ The problem is solved ♪ - I'll get the tray!
