But inside the home of Albert Einstein, it's a totally warm, bright, just-right night of... - (all): Hanukkah!
- Hanukkah's this really special winter holiday that my pal Al celebrates.
- Mmm-hmm!
Every year since I was a little boy.
- This year, Al invited Cat and me to celebrate with him, and to bring friends.
So we told our number-one ninja girl Aki... - I came all the way from Japan!
- ...our space alien pal Richard... - I came all the way from the Purple Planet!
- We even got Ramone!
- I've never celebrated Hanukkah before!

(all yelling) - Look!
On that box!
- (Ramone): It's a family of birds... ...being pushed off by squirrels.
- (Peg): And a family of squirrels being pushed off by birds!
- The birds come in through that pipe when it rains.
The squirrels come in through that hole when it's windy.
- They both use the top of the box as their home in bad weather.
- Tonight, the weather's so bad, they both want it.
- But there's only room for one family.
- So many animals, so little box!
- Then, let's make a new box for one of the families out of this!
- ♪♪ Let's begin to take this into ♪ ♪ Another dimension ♪ - The cardboard's flat, but to make it into a box, we have to make it solid.
- ♪ It's got length and width ♪ ♪ But it also needs height ♪ - ♪ To give it height, you fold it ♪ - ♪ Use some tape to hold it ♪ - ♪ It's gone from two dimensions to three ♪ - ♪ We've taken it into ♪ - ♪ Another dimension ♪♪ - There ya go, birdies.
- Or squirrellies.

- Because it's just a box.
It's not their home.

They're totally used to that box.

- (all): We are totally freaking out!

- He's made amazing discoveries that changed the way people think about space, time, and light.

- When their box is three dimensions, there's only this much room to sit on.
- The squirrels and birds can't sit on the sides.
- But when it's flattened to two dimensions... - They can sit on the whole thing!

- (Richard): And more width!
- And way more room to sit!

We're gonna make your home big enough for both of you!

- You took those tall parts off the conveyer belt, separating them from the short parts.
Santa said a conveyer belt won't work unless it has all of the right toy parts on it!
So sorting out the toy parts would be a great step in fixing the machine!
- And saving Christmas!
- ♪♪ So let's sort sort sort - Sorty sorty sort sort ♪ - ♪ Sort firm parts from stretchy ♪ - ♪ And tall parts from short - Sort by shape ♪ - ♪ And color!

The next step is getting them into the sleighs so they can be delivered!

- Presents are piling up too high in those first sleighs!
They'll fall into the snow and be ruined!

Do you think turning this dial to higher numbers will make it shoot the presents further?
- I have no idea!
- If I try turning it up, can you go to the window and let me know what's happening?
- I can and I will!
- It's on 38.
I hardly ever count in the thirties...
But I know that counting in the thirties is just like counting from one to nine... After eight comes nine.
So to turn this dial higher, I go from 38 to 39.
- The presents are going further!
- All right!
39 does the trick!
- All the sleighs are full, except for the ones way in the back!
- Luckily, this thing still can go one higher... to 40!
- All presents are in sleighs and ready for delivery.
- The presents are made, and wrapped, and put in sleighs!
We solved another step!
- All right!
- All 100 sleighs now ready for takeoff.
- 100 sleighs?!

- Balance means to get the weight even on both sides of something, so it doesn't tilt, like with my snowboard.
If I put my weight on one side of the board, it tilts one way.
If I put my weight on the other side, it tilts the other way.
If I put one foot on each side like this, it balances perfectly, and it doesn't tilt at all!
