Hello, viewers.
While Blossom's been away on vacation, I've landed my first pet-sitting job for my cousin Bluff.
Hey, Ruffio!
I need you to pet-sit my, uh, hamster.
Yeah, let's call it a hamster.
Goes by the name of Fluff.
Just for a few days.
I owe you one-- da-dush!
RUFF: Wow, this'll be great.
Look at all these awesome things I got from the pet store.
Hamster squeaky toys.
An extra-strong hamster leash.
(doorbell rings) Oh, that must be Fluff.
When Blossom gets home, she's going to be so excited at the cute little... (screams) Who are you?
Fluff?
Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
All right, Bluff.
I am pretty sure this is not a hamster.
FLUFF: Well, now that you mention it, he does have a rhinoceroid quality or two, I've got to admit.
But Blossom comes home in three days.
I can't have a stampeding rhino in her house!
BLUFF: Whoa, relax.
Just put a leash on him.
A leash?
Oh, he loves leashes.
Just make sure it's strong, click it on, bada-boom, he's calm as a clam.
Listen, I'll pick him up next week.
No, no, no, wait!
Uh, uh.... A leash, huh?
Okay, well, I do have this hamster leash.
Oh, Fluff?
Well, okay, that is not long enough.
But I don't have any other leashes!
Okay, all right, Chet, we're going to have to make a leash.
Think, think.
What material do we have in the house that's long?
Ha-ha, toilet paper.
Just make a nice little lasso here, and... perfect!
And that did not work.
Wait, no, no.
Chet, run!
Okay, viewers, clearly we need a different long material.
Huh, let's see.
Ah... Oh, perfect.
A leash made entirely of sausage links.
Well, there goes my breakfast.
Ah, okay, both leashes snapped right away.
Clearly it isn't just length that's important, but strength if you want a good material for rhino leashes.

There's a rhino in my house.
(Claire laughing) Yes, it's hilarious.
I need to find the strongest material in my pantry that can make a rhino leash.
Can you help me out?
Sure-- what kind of materials do you have?
RUFF: Let's see.
I've got crepe paper left over from Chet's disco dancing party, licorice, and plastic bags.
Okay, how are you going to test to see how strong each material is?
So we're going to tape this bag to the crepe paper, and then we're going to fill the bag with pennies.
And then we're going to see how many pennies the crepe paper can hold before it breaks.
RUFF: Great idea!
The more pennies the crepe paper can hold, the stronger it is.
We might be here a while.
I'm going to make myself a smoothie.
BOTH: 24, 25... 40.
CLAIRE: 40.
JADEN: Okay, it's 40.
RUFF: Claire, what are you writing?
I'm writing down how many pennies each material was holding up before it broke.
RUFF: Ah, good idea.
Crepe paper can hold 40 pennies.
That's not that much, Ruff.
Uh...
I've got licorice.
(Claire laughing) I don't know how strong it's going to be, but it tastes good.
RUFF: Right?
CLAIRE: I'm thinking that it's going to hold about five pennies, and then it's going to rip.
I think, like, five or six.
BOTH: One... six, seven, eight... 19, 20.
CLAIRE: It only held 20.
You're not going to stop a rhino with this, Ruff.
All I've got left are these plastic bags.
And plastic bags are useless.
What am I going to do?
Actually, they're not useless.
Plastic bags can be pretty strong.
RUFF: Really?
I think we should do this by tens.

Whoa!
Whoa!
Chet, help!
Oh, drat.
When the plastic bags didn't break right away, I thought for sure they were going to work.
I wonder what makes this leash extra strong.
Huh, it's actually three pieces of string woven together.
It's braided.
I wonder if that has anything to do with its strength.
Guys, what do you think?
We'll test the bags for you, Ruff.
We'll braid them together like the hamster leash.
RUFF: That's why you're the best.
CLAIRE: Let's see if the bag's strong enough to pull the chair.
I'll sit on the chair while you test how strong the bags are.
Pull, pull.
(chair scraping loudly) (they laugh) RUFF: Jaden?
The bag's not strong enough to pull the chair.
So let's see what happens when we braid them.
RUFF: Ah, braiding.
Wish my hair were long enough to braid.
Okay, let's see if it's stronger.
It's working.
