Another week of game time here on SDB.
I'm joined as always with Jason Indira Gandhi.
Last week of the regular season for the three nine man classes and 11 B where did the season go?
It has gone fast.
And, you know, right down to the last week these games are going to be integral to figure out seedings and who gets home fields and who makes the playoffs.
So there's a lot still yet to play for in this last week for the smaller schools.
And of course, two games left for the bigger schools.
All right.
And we get to do some something kind of fun this week.
We did it last year with football.
We also did it last year with basketball where we we're not going to give you like who we think should be the player of the year, but we want to go through and highlight a bunch of kids that we feel are worthy of being player of the year.
And it is hard because we do the best we can.
We don't have access to every stat out there, but we do know the players who are making a huge impact.
And of course, this isn't anything official that we're handing out, but, we know that there is a player of the year or an All-American on every all state team of all the classes.
So, we thought we'd throw some names and a hat for you to, to chew on for the next few weeks.
Yeah, we have fun every week highlighting kids.
And we'll highlight, you know, those player of the years here a little bit later.
But we're going to highlight some of the individual performers from this past week.
As always with the game Changers.
Let's start in.
Let's get at it Hudson Barber, the sophomore receiver for Sully Buttes.
They went overtime against Timberlake.
And those top two players right there Hudson Barber Brock Bower both made big impacts in that game.
But Brock Bower and Timberlake got it done in overtime.
Brock had the game winning touchdown.
Look at their stats.
Both of them were incredible.
Yeah an overtime game was you know we're not going to really go through some of these games this week.
But real quick on that overtime.
Like what did you see right there.
What was the difference.
Yeah I had a chance to contact both coaches and they just said it was a great atmosphere, a real playoff atmosphere.
Both teams coming in undefeated in A98 game like that.
And it was just a few plays that, you know, decided the game one way or the other.
Timberlake got a big touchdown to force overtime basically, or to go ahead.
And then Sully Buttes found a way to force overtime.
And then in overtime, Brock Bower gets the game winning touchdown.
So, this one probably didn't get enough hype, for how good it was and how good these two teams are, but, they deserve all the accolades.
I mean, who else do we need to look out for?
The game changer Jack bloom.
Green gets three catches two of them for touchdowns going over 100 yards receiving.
Ty booms my over 330 yards passing and five touchdowns and almost runs for 100 yards in his win for Woolsey Essington, Kaden Crawford of Elkton, Lake Benton, he ran for almost 200 yards.
And since he's taken over, at quarterback, they have been really tough to deal with things popped up as well.
For Pir as Jaren, Diehl was nearly perfect.
during Diehl, we're going to talk about him a little.
Spoiler alert here in the player of the year candidates as well.
But what a difference maker he has been since he has taken over the job in Pir.
And we'll mention his teammate here later in a record setting performance.
But let's get to the rest of the list.
Jackson.
Dirk.
Out of lemon McIntosh runs for 169 yards and a couple of scores.
Hayden Hanson another Irene to kind of another double threat performance going for over 100 rushing and also receiving for almost 100 yards.
Wyatt Hart out of Sioux Valley gets a overtime win over Parker.
And it was very much in due to what he did grinding the ball out.
Yeah.
And then you got Chase Hermanson out of O'Gorman.
Another really fabulous game for their quarterback 19 of 30.
Almost 66% passing the ball and six passing touchdowns.
Wow.
Tayden.
Kerrigan I mean he fills up the stat sheet as much as anybody in the state.
Again a guy who completes almost every pass did it again.
And he had a very nice pick six that went back for a score in that game.
and Camden Kessler on the list.
Once again eight of ten passing goes for almost 100 yards.
Rushing leads the team in tackles.
Ho hum day for a senior Camden Kessler Jonathan Leonardi out of Hamlin I mean these these guys are running the football at a great rate.
Bowden, Stevenson and Leonardi both having great years, but Leonardi running for 254 yards and three touchdowns in their win, case in Metzger of Jefferson, they had no problem against a pretty good Roosevelt team, but he was really in rhythm 17 to 22 for three touchdowns.
Talan Miller out of northwestern.
This northwestern team didn't have a win last year.
This year three wins now.
And he gets a huge performance on the ground 207 yards rushing for touchdowns over Sunshine Bible Academy.
Huge shout out to northwestern in the Wildcat.
Well then we talked about this Timberlake Sully Buttes matchup.
But how about Easton Moore as well.
18 to 25 290 yards.
Had a rushing touchdown and threw for four I mean and they lost like how does that even happen.
But he has had a tremendous year so far.
And he's he's gearing up for quite a career as just a sophomore.
Another guy in a loss, Anderson Parrish at quarterback.
Look at he threw the ball almost 50 times for 400 yards.
And he ran for over 100.
Right?
Seven total touchdowns.
He was attributed with in this game.
Just, you know, you want to look at especially an 11 double A okay.
You have to if you're putting up numbers like that, you are putting on an absolute clinic.
So again, yeah, you mentioned it.
Another another performance like this in a loss.
Yeah.
And he found Chase Schuchart for a lot of those scorers.
He's also on the list.
Grayson Retzlaff of Avon at 100 yards and a couple scores Devin Rhodes getting back into the mix 40.
And he did it in a big way 135 yards rushing two touchdowns.
Also threw five for seven.
And another score.
He is a real sparkplug.
Great, absolutely.
Going out to Saint Thomas More, we got a guy Cooper Sayles eight catches, 169 yards and three touchdowns.
Well let's talk about his quarterback to Noah Wald who's 23 of 34 for 338 and four touchdowns.
And the guy behind him was Anders Armstrong.
You know also runs for three touchdowns and receives another touchdown.
So those three guys have made such an impact this year for Saint Thomas More.
That's been impressive.
Yeah 11 B can't wait to see what's going to happen here in the postseason with that.
All right.
And last week we had the state championships begin for the fall season.
Hard to believe it's already that time of year.
But we had tennis.
We had golf.
I mean, just quite a bit going on last.
Well, let us know what we need to know about it.
Nate, there's a lot going on.
So starting with boys golf, it was Vermillion who took the team championship.
Their teammates Rylan Moran and Jaren Carr actually faced off in a playoff.
Rylan Moran won the play off to win the individual title.
Vermillion had five golfers that placed in the top 25 at this year's event.
For double, it was Drew Simon of O'Gorman that won a playoff the individual title.
It was Sioux Falls Lincoln, however, a two stroke win to win the team title for that class A girls tennis class AA girls tennis Sioux Falls Christian, with a dominating performance, won all nine flights, six singles, three doubles, 600 points out of 600 possible Sioux Falls Christian, Your State A girls tennis champions.
And then it was Rapid City.
Stephens winning their third straight girls tennis title on the class Double-A side.
Heck of a run for coach Jason Olson and his Raider squad.
And then coming up this weekend on Saturday October 17th, it's the soccer championships up in water down at the it's a beautiful facility that they have up there in Watertown.
And, Steve will have live coverage of the 2026 state soccer championships.
We always look forward to that one.
I'll be there.
You can't wait to see, some new champions.
Or if we have new games.
Yeah, you'll be out on the sideline working for that one.
So it'll be if you see Andy at the up in Watertown working state soccer, make sure you say hello and tell him to get back to work.
Yeah.
Exactly.
In between popcorn breaks.
Yeah.
All right.
So now for the main event.
We're going to go through these player of the year candidates on the year.
Again we're not going to be giving out any sort of like oh this is the player who wins the award.
But this is going to give people a good idea.
And we're going to we're going to just kind of highlight players that we feel are worthy of them.
Yeah, it's interesting because some are really team awards too, because their team is doing so well.
You know, somebody's got to be responsible for it.
Football's definitely not an individual sport, but we do want to mention some of these guys, maybe not making the the game changers every week.
But they're doing they've been doing that consistent work all season that deserve a recognition.
So let's go through them.
All right.
Class 11 triple A. Let's look at it.
Let's start with Brody Shafer out of Lincoln.
Phenomenal player has that magic it factor just seems to run around make things happen when things look doom and gloom.
It's been a little bit of a weird season for the Lincoln Patriots.
You know they've had some losses and things like that.
But Brody Shafer we've seen it now the last few weeks.
He's starting to click a little bit more.
And he still has had a phenomenal season.
When you look at this team you know I reached out to Jared Edinburg and just asked how the seasons go.
And he said well he's really calmed down and he really has in the last few weeks.
And what he gives you is he just doesn't turn it over yet.
Those early turnovers in the season.
But now he is just back to rock solid.
You know completing a high percentage of passes 1100 yards passing 500 more yards rushing.
And that's where he's a real threat is he can pull it down and get those first downs.
So who else do you like an 11 triple A?
Let's mention Jason's in this guy 43 receptions almost 500 yards and seven touchdowns.
Kason metzger, his teammate definitely belongs in this list as well.
Look at what he's done 67% throwing the football this year.
And that was a question at the beginning of the year, is how well would they be able to find these skill guys.
And we know they were full of skill guys.
But since been able to do that.
Yeah.
When you and you mentioned it right off the top here too.
Some of these are team words because Jefferson has this phenomenal defense.
Right.
But it's it's been this offensive efficiency like with the high completion percentage.
And guys not it's not you're not necessarily getting like the 5060 yard plays.
But you're getting guys that are getting ten yards every time they catch the ball.
It's efficient.
It's moving the ball down the field, giving your defense a little bit of a rest when they need to as well.
And it's been a such a great compliment.
And it's why Jefferson has been so good this year.
And it feels weird not to have a defensive player on here for Jefferson.
But Anthony Petrone has been right there.
Noah Kenzie is like going to set a record for sacks this year.
They've got multiple guys on defense who are going to be all state caliber players.
But that's more of a team.
So I chose Undyne and Metzger is the two guys to watch for.
And Jefferson, but going through the rest of list, Ryder Mueller went through that injury, but still, look at the stats that he's piling up 869 yards rushing 11 touchdowns.
And he's also been doing it receiving again that's a credit to the offensive line.
Yeah I mean that's yeah his name is up there.
But that's a team award too.
Yeah Brandon Valley's got that's got this reputation now of just having some really good offensive lines.
Yeah.
And you mentioned it okay.
You know maybe he hasn't been healthy the whole time here.
But here he is.
You know two games remaining.
He's closing in already on a thousand yards rushing for the season.
Yeah definitely gotta watch.
And then you know mentioning here spring and O'Gorman two teams.
They're trying to find their way into a home field game for the quarterfinals of the playoffs.
They've got some leaders as well.
And I think Bryson Esser has really elevated himself into one of the best in the state.
He can run the football.
He's a monster on defense.
And, if it wasn't for him, I'm not sure where Harrisburg would be.
And then you got Chase Hermanson as well, you know.
Where do you put him as far as just like the guys that are just, you know, just pure talent and just seem to have a very high football IQ.
Well, exactly.
High football IQ and then just prolific numbers because they love to throw the ball because they have a smaller offensive line.
They're not relying on the run as much.
And but they feel confident in letting Chase just throw the ball around.
And he's had several games like he did the here list last week with six passing touchdowns.
He's had a lot of games like that so far this year, so he's definitely compiling some big time numbers.
And yeah.
Where would they be without him?
Yeah, it's it's it's it's a lot of fun with some of these players here an 11 triple A, there's just a lot of talent, a lot of, college eyes on some of these guys too, that there are 11 double A. Let's start with Jaren.
Deal out of here.
One thing that's quick to note about him okay, last year we kind of know the story.
He comes in, we're wondering okay what's this team going to kind of look like.
You get to the state championship.
And he looked like a poised veteran type player.
You come into this year.
And I think he's even mentally stronger than he was a year ago.
And this is a team.
You know I think he's he's putting up he's put making a great legacy for himself as a quarterback.
And he's coming from a school that's got Lincoln Kienholz Garrett Stout Peyton's able right Brian Kaiser, all these guys who've gone on to play big time college ball.
So and I think it might be time to add your own deal to that same kind of conversation a little bit just because, again, that that mental toughness.
And I think a lot of that too does come back to the coaching staff and how they prepare their quarterbacks week in and week out.
But just you can tell he puts the work in and does the little things throughout the week when it comes to the prep leading up to the game.
And because he's been so athletic, he forces teams to protect him from running for the first down.
And so he's throwing guys open, and able to you know, he's able to use his running abilities to open the passing game.
And look at these numbers.
I mean, the completion percentage is 77% on the completion, almost 2000 yards already throwing it.
And meanwhile he's run for over 500 yards.
It's like these are unreal numbers for Jaren Diehl.
And it's time we give him those flowers.
And he can throw short.
He can throw intermediate.
He can throw deep.
Use his legs to you know as well as throw on the run.
I mean, just a very complete player there for a year.
And while we're talking about him, let's talk about his teammate Carter short for man.
He deserves to be mentioned as well.
You know 36 catches 842 yards 11 touchdowns on the year.
That is a great start with two games left to go for the senior receiver.
He's been awesome.
Yeah he has been.
And I think there's just so much talk coming into this year about Blake.
You know Cooper Terwilliger had that you know the Hail Mary catch a year ago right.
And that he's just this all time player, which he is.
He's a fantastic asset to the team.
He's a great leader.
He's more talented in the Wildcat.
Like he can run his that can blow people up in the passing game.
He can catch anything over the middle, but it's somebody who's really racking up the air.
Yeah, he's got he's been the explosive player that we've seen all year for peer.
It's just seems like big play after big play, especially in games where things maybe aren't quite going, peers where they're moving a little slow.
You know, we saw it against Yankton.
We saw it against a few other teams where there's the deep shot to shuffle by him, and now they're rolling.
It just seems like the duo there with Diehl and Shuffle by, and it really sparks the momentum for that team.
It's been huge.
And you know, we could go on and on about pure players.
Porter Hensley having a great year.
Their defense having a great year.
But yeah those two rise to the top Mitch Grant out of te area.
Let's talk about this te area.
We're not used to seeing you know we've seen some very run heavy offenses out of te area in the past.
And you know, you got a guy like Mitch Grant who comes in here, another guy that can use his legs, another dual threat type of guy.
But then you add in the passing and stuff like that that he has and his defensive effort.
I mean, this kid is just a complete football player.
He is.
And you're right, we haven't seen a guy that's been able to just sit back in the pocket and pick people apart.
He's done that for 835 yards and eight touchdowns.
But he's like Josh Allen when he runs the ball to like he's just going to power in some touchdowns on the ground for sure.
And then you said it.
When you add in the defense, I don't know if there's a player having as balanced of a season as he is.
Yeah.
Just finds a way defensively to get around the ball and it's a huge credit.
We love players that do that.
Anderson push out of Huron.
Yeah let's talk about this kid.
The record maybe not where they want it to be right now.
But it's not his fault.
He's a guy who has been just racking up the yards again almost as many yards as John Diehl so far 16 touchdowns passing.
He's run for over 510 touchdowns.
To do that on a team that's three and four.
That's that's the like definition of value.
He's very valuable to that team.
Class 11 a all right.
Let's let's talk about these.
Who do you want to start with here.
Well let's start with Jud Prins.
This is a guy.
You know he's really popped off as a junior this year.
It started with the very first game of the year when he had a pick six to start things out, and he just sets the tone defensively.
One of their top tacklers, he's all over the field making defensive interceptions and touchdowns and punt return touchdowns.
And then on offense, you'll come in and kind of be the goal line guy making some goal line touchdowns and he can get you yards in the passing game as well.
This is one of the the guys who I think is improved the most in my eyes from what I saw last year to this year.
And he's just a junior, you know, in Sioux Falls, Christian real quick, I watched him live here this past this past week against Vermillion.
That defense is absolutely incredible.
Yeah.
And the offense it doesn't give you that wow factor.
But when things are when the momentum is in favor of Sioux Falls Christian, that offense is just very consistent.
They wait for their opportunities.
It's not like they don't try to force things right.
It's not there.
Okay.
I'm just going to run out of bounds.
And it's going to be a two year game going to the next play.
You know they just wait for their opportunities.
They're patient on offense Drake Nicholson real quick two out of Lenox.
You know what a talent he's been.
You know, we talked about his record a week or so ago.
You know, what a player he has been for the Orioles.
Yeah.
And again he's playing defense as well this year and doing a good job of it.
But he's such a great red zone target.
And with you know him on the team you just feel like you're going to draw 2 or 3 defenders his way no matter what.
So even the stats are great and they are.
But just the effect that he has of being on the field is that much more impressive.
Beckett Everson out of West Central.
Let's talk about him.
You know you talk about not having a quarterback that can chug I mean how long has it been since West Central had a quarterback that can chug right.
Is he's already completed 93 passes this year for almost 1400 yards and 15 touchdowns.
Explosive plays are the name of the game.
And I gotta give credit to this junior quarterback who has really stepped up, you know, West Central real quick to you know you look at this West Central team again.
You know they have that slip up against Sioux Falls Christian.
We've talked about Sioux Falls Christian and just how great that defense is.
But if you do actually falls Christian two there are opportunities that the defense will present you through games with the explosiveness and things like that.
With West Central, you know, we'll see what happens in the playoffs and things like.
It was a weird game the first time they played each other.
There was a weather delay.
And you know, there were a couple plays that went, you know, this is a team West Central that can play along with anybody in this class.
And then you got, you know, Madison's got a great quarterback too.
And Henry Van Hoff you know we talk about great completion percentages.
Here's a guy that's almost completing 70% of his passes.
So smart with the ball and so efficient.
You getting a lot of yards.
And then he does it on the ground too.
He's another guy who you know you rely on him to score the touchdowns on the ground.
And you know he's just exceeded expectations again this year.
All right.
There's a there's a Dell Rapids Courier.
We got to talk about two.
Yeah Jace Brandy came in is a kind of a tight end.
Tight.
But they moved him to running back this year.
He's been a leader on defense almost all season.
You know one of their top tacklers you know goes out and gets sacks and tackles for loss.
But then you know you turn to him on the offensive side.
And he's the one that's pounding the rock into the end zone too.
So you know the Dell Rapids might not be at the very top of this.
But these are the kind of guys we got to mention because they're not on the game changers list every week, but they are one of the best players in this class.
Yeah.
Consistency across the board week in and week out.
It's you know they're a focal point on their teams 11 B start without point Jefferson and Aiden Hammett well a couple other point Jefferson guys because look at those stats Aiden Hammett Brody Van Roekel I mean almost identical what they bring defensively and offensively.
Now you look at them as people.
You know Hammett's more slender and speedy van Roekel is a little bit thicker and and making those power plays.
But the stats are about the same.
And it's because that offensive line is so good.
And again, this might be an offensive line award, but but one of these two guys could definitely grab the headlines because of what they do well on the field.
Got a few Saint Thomas More players we got to talk about two.
It's hard with no wall and all three of these guys on the Game Changers list, all the time.
And you got to start with.
No.
Although this guy is a true, dual threat quarterback throwing for over 1600 yards and almost, you know, 431 yards, running as well.
You can also run the ball.
You don't think about that.
But 21 touchdowns through the year, that's one of the highest touchdown totals I've seen on this entire list today.
Yeah, he's almost got 30 at this point.
And you know there's still you know obviously some season to go here for Saint Tommy Moore.
They wouldn't be able to do that without Cooper sales right.
Like last year broken sales did a lot of that for him catching a lot of those passes.
Cooper has just stepped right in and taken that number one receiver.
And and the not only receiving rushing but defensively has been so important to this team.
It's hard to not mention all three of those guys.
themselves as one of the top teams in the class.
They do.
And, you know, we could mention a couple more.
I think Russ Turner, you know, a future D1 guy on the line doing big things for him too.
There's just so many places you can go.
This is definitely a team word, but but I do I, I agree Noah was this really been the key that has kept that car going?
Let's talk about Aiden Sievers out of duo real quick here to another guy just making havoc on both sides of the ball.
They don't pass a lot, but when they do he can make a big play on that side.
You know they've got guys who can run the ball as well.
But when the ball's in Aiden Sievers hands, they feel like they have a chance to do something big.
And and for him to do it on both sides of the ball, it's been a lot.
They have a big game coming up this week and then you got Camden Anderson on a winner too.
He's had a really good year.
Yeah.
Running for almost eight over 800 yards and and able to catch the ball out of the backfield.
You don't see it in winter.
Very obviously.
And then he's a guy who makes an impact defensively too.
All right nine double a couple Parkeston players here.
But we probably got to talk about yeah I mean there are two old All-State returners.
You got to talk about Gage Chiedozie and Mason Jervis And it's the same thing with Bowden Stevenson who had to step up and, take over the quarterback position this year at Hamlin.
You weren't sure how you do it.
You know.
Well, look at those numbers.
He is doing everything possible to make this team, good.
And that's why they've won six in a row.
I mean, it's just a tremendous job by Stevenson.
Yeah for sure.
And then the other two guys on this list Landon Kiser you know he came in as a transfer from Gregory.
And boy he's made that team a contender a title contender in one year.
They've got a lot of depth and a lot of other great players.
But his factor cannot go unnoticed.
And then Jace Ryan out of Britton Hecla their quarterback.
He's been so sharp this year.
You know we know what soother does with the running game.
But like to me Jace Ryan really makes that team go and then you got nine a quite a few solid Buttes players here as well as Timberlake and Freeman.
But you know let's start maybe with just Easton Moore again.
You know we talk about him with the game changers.
It seems quite frequently.
But what an asset he has been to Sully Buttes.
Oh yeah.
Just a sophomore.
Both Easton Moore Hudson Barber sophomores.
And look at what they're doing number wise.
I mean, head coach Tom Moore deserves, you know, a round of applause for what he's done with this team.
They've made him into contenders with their best players this sophomore.
So give him a lot of credit.
But Timberlake team we're not talking about very much Justin Murtabak Pete Meyer is doing great.
And they're throwing the ball back.
Brock Bower having a great year receiving both those two guys.
Great on defense as well.
But really what it comes down to for me is the Freeman players and the Castlewood player that we we know that we've been talking about.
This is going to be interesting because Jaden Kerrigan put up the huge numbers at quarterback.
To me, East and Cheddar feels like the guy that is the focal point of that team for a Freeman.
And then Cassel Woods, Camden Kessler since week one and those big wins early on against those tough teams has been so impressive.
So this is why we don't actually give out a player of the year, because there's no three sided coin for that one.
Exactly.
And then you got rush O'Neal out of Bennett County.
He's had a really good year too.
Bennett county's only got one loss this year.
That loss to wall.
And look what he's done there.
They're, passing game with Maddox.
Ricci has been great.
And rush O'Neal I think has had a huge impact in that and defensively too.
And then Cole Becker for Howard.
Don't you know this is word is is a full season award.
And I have a feeling Howard still has a little bit more to be written in.
And he's he's a key guy that could make things go well here for these last couple of weeks.
All right.
And then class nine B as well.
Let's talk about that here quick.
Two.
What do you like.
Who do you like out of this.
Again.
You talk in team words.
This Saint Mary's team has played so many games where they're up by 50.
So you don't have the the big numbers there.
And and to me the line is really one of the MVP's here to Alex Lindemann, you know future USD lineman really deserves some shout outs but doesn't have a big numbers on him.
So the guys that have been really producing number wise Thomas Savoy ten touchdowns rushing.
He's got a touchdown receiving Brady Jewett who came in to quarterback.
He's able to run it and throw it in.
And then Logan Bauer he's got nine touchdowns receiving as well this year.
So any one of those guys could be on this list to me.
But Saint Mary's has a lot of good players and I like drew it from the perspective of he's got a little bit of this clutch gene in him to where when things just feel like they're maybe breaking down a little bit.
We saw that a few times in some of Saint Mary's close games this year.
Who's the guy that steps up and maybe makes the big pass or play with his legs?
It seems like it's ju it.
He's he's definitely fit in very well in his first year with Saint Mary's.
All right.
Tanner Vollmer had a wall.
Well yeah.
This is a guy coming into the year that felt like the focal point of, you know, the the most valuable player to any team because they had lost so much.
And he has really stepped up and done it.
And mostly with his legs 18 yards or 18 touchdowns with 964 yards rushing.
And then he's he can throw the ball as well.
But man what he does with his legs really sets the tone.
And then you got Devin and Ander out of Hitchcock to layer as well.
Yeah Devin and and are having a terrific year.
And this is a team that kind of came out of nowhere.
It is and look at what he's done.
He can throw the ball.
But really he does the same as Tanner Vollmer.
Like you'll you'll find a way to to run the ball down the field for his team.
And then, Beckham.
Cantaloupe from Warner again.
Warner's got a team where, you know, you could talk about some of their big guys.
Noah Baker Berg is having a big year defensively Alec Mikkelson you know playing tight end and kicking and all the things that he brings to the team.
But Beckham Kendall had the best years statistically for them with 14 rushing touchdowns.
And that was a position they really needed somebody to step up and at running back.
He has done that in his sophomore year.
And you look at cantaloupes average two.
Every time he's getting the ball on the ground, he's making you know he's getting about seven eight yards a clip on that and then receiving.
He's getting about 15.
You know throughout those catches as well.
So it's like I mean this is a guy that efficient.
And every time he touches the ball it seems like those chains are moving or just about ready to move.
Exactly.
So again, you know, whether or not he's an MVP or a top player in the class, I don't know.
But he's been so important to the success of this year's team who had a you guys get your money's worth this week.
Well, you know, obviously we still got a little bit of regular season left.
Last week of the regular season for nine men, 11 B a couple games left for the three upper 11 man classes.
So we got to talk about the top tilts here for the week as well.
Jefferson at O'Gorman Jefferson O'Gorman a big test for both of these two teams.
In fact an 11 triple AA.
We've got two games that are ranked matchups with Brandon Valley taking on Lincoln.
So those are two big ones to watch.
And 11 Madison canton.
I mean, these are teams that are right next to each other in the standings right now.
A win would go a long ways in this one, and I'm really looking forward to the 11 B matchup at City Christian.
Again, only one loss on the season playing against their crosstown rivals in Saint Thomas More.
And a couple more nine man games I want to talk about duel at Clark with the lake.
I'm going to try to get to that game if I can.
And I'm you know, Clark Lake said it's a nail biter.
The last couple of weeks, but they keep winning.
So this again for seeding means a lot in that game.
And they got Centerville at Avon and then also LRO.
We also have an All Nations matchup two here Marty at Dupree to Keeney.
Yeah Martin's had a couple tough games in the last couple weeks.
But they have really overachieved this year.
And then Dupree Tarquini has a chance to go undefeated in the regular season, so this would be a huge win for them.
Those are all be great matchups this week.
Yeah, there's a lot going to be to talk about here next week too, as we get into the first round of the playoffs here for some of these classes, it's it's a great time of year, especially with all the different championships and things like that that are taking place against state soccer.
This weekend in Watertown at their beautiful stadium that they have up there will be up there for Janae, and we're looking forward to looking forward to it.
Can't wait.
All right.
Another week of game time here on SDB.
