King of hearts.
Don't run that.
But that's every card in the deck.
What?
What card is it?
It's half price for a deluxe cheese pizza.
Hey, what do you say?
Are you ready to make our show today?
Hey.
Random late.
Great.
Yes.
What's on our show today?
We got coffee.
We have people.
We have places.
We have fun.
We're sorry we got sick.
We got games.
We got you.
Hey, take it away.
Hi, friends.
Hey, guys.
Hey, Ray.
How's it.
Going?
I'm having a really good day.
So good morning.
And I'm ready.
I am.
Hell, no, I ain't no that.
You know, Ray, we like to get things started by asking something about our feelings.
We ask a couple questions, we find out about each other and today we had a really fun question.
The first thing we asked everybody was, do you have a nickname?
Oh, yeah, I do.
You.
Well, you know, a lot of times kids will say.
Hey, squirrely Because they don't know my name.
So I think it's not so much a nickname as much as they just don't remember my name, I know it.
So they'll say, hey, squirrely.
So I guess growly.
That makes sense.
I know most people don't kno Ray is actually your nickname.
Yeah, because your.
First name is really.
Really.
And we never really.
Call you rarely and doubt.
Okay, so.
Yeah, that's.
My friends call me Ray.
Yeah, my friends call me Rover.
That's my full name, though.
Yeah.
Does anybody ever call you ro?
Now, maybe we can start that, though.
I'll check out the Ro.
Hey, Ray.
Rowan.
Ray, that kind of works.
What's the next question?
Okay, yeah, the next questio was, what's your favorite coin?
There's lots of coins, right?
I like there's a penny.
Did you say penny?
Yeah I said baby, that's my favorite.
I like the penny, too.
It's so cute.
It seems to be a lot of variety.
Penny, I like looking at the dates.
I seem to find more old pennies than other coins.
I don't know why that is.
Yeah.
So.
But there's lots of other coins.
All right.
So anyways, here's what we found out.
Here's our fun fact about our viewers today.
So this is everybody watching.
We asked you those same questions and we found out that no one.
Oh, no.
Who has a nickname says the penny is their favorite coin.
Interesting.
Wait wait wait wait.
I didn't do my survey becaus I said that I have a nickname.
I didn't fill out the form, I didn't.
I'm not playing along, though.
Technically.
Well, you know, I'm not either.
Maybe we should start doing that.
That because both of us say, Penny, we both would have been in that.
Yeah, but that's that talked about the importance of making sure you contribute when it's time to.
Yeah.
We maybe no one has a nickname.
Oh, well.
Wait a minute.
I. Oh, 88%.
Oh.
Have this.
Oh.
Have a nickname.
Wow.
50% of you I said a dime.
Dime.
The other quarter.
Wow.
Okay, well, s I was completely wrong on that.
It's just great.
You and I are the only one who like pennies.
The penny?
There's the penny there.
It's important to look closel at all the data, too, sometime.
Yeah, that was very fun.
That was good to find out.
All right.
Well, thanks Thanks for playing.
Along.
Yeah.
I think we should get that.
Good.
You racket ready.
What do you.
Say?
That was?
All right.
Okay.
One's a fun one.
That's right.
Is Rocket race.
If you look at your phone or other connected device, this screen is time to set in color.
Whatever color it is, that's your.
Team.
So now as a team, you're all working together.
Type in as many four letter words as you can.
Oh, and I'll get the power.
Your rocket ship.
The first tea to get across the screen wins.
Yahoo!
Oh, team!
Somebody wrote team.
That's four letters.
That's great.
Oh, m mom.
Cool.
I'll read them.
Cool, then.
Oh, yeah.
Hey, I called Jack before the show.
I called Jack to tell him I was.
He was talking about something about apples.
I don't remember, but been three.
Team all right team Green, you're doing great.
Team green.
Why are we off to the races?
Yeah, race r a c e. That's a word with four letters.
Move through.
Oh, man, I think green.
Come on, come on, Brian, hang in there.
You can do this.
You got this fast.
Are.
Oh, it's a tail.
You have a tail.
How's life for the tail?
It's pretty good.
I like my tail.
It's good.
I like doing this with it.
I just sit around.
Yeah.
Frog frogs don't have tails, do they know.
How they do when the tadpole and then they.
Lose their tail?
That is a funny thing.
It is.
It's big.
I feel bad for them, though, because I'm thinking they must be like.
Oh, I miss my tail.
All right, fish, look at that.
Green is completely off the screen.
Good job.
Green.
You did a great job.
Good job everybody.
That was a fun game.
Yeah, that was great.
Nicely done.
Yeah.
Oh hey I love things when they're made by hand.
So in a way yeah.
And han this is a character on our show.
And it's time for hand made.
That's what I like to call it.
Yeah.
So we get to watch in real time.
Well, not real time.
I didn't mean real time.
It's actually, two times.
Times two.
I wonder what hand's going to draw.
So we get a phone in.
That looks my Uncle Joe.
Oh, right.
No, that's a fishing pole.
I think.
Oh, wait.
No it's not, it's it's.
Those are glasses.
I thin it was definitely an ear though.
Oh yeah.
It's Grandpa Joe.
I see it now.
I think it's Uncle.
Joe.
With the Grand.
Does your grandpa does Uncle Joe have a beard?
He does see why he.
Yeah, he doesn't shave that often, Right.
Those teet remind me of a gorilla's teeth.
I am kind of looks like Grandpa Joe, I like his hair.
Oh, yeah that's definitely Grandpa Joe.
Oh, that's a back.
I think that's a jet pack.
Wait a minute.
Now.
I think you're right.
That's that's not bad.
It's not Grandpa Joe.
No, that's a gorilla.
I think you are right.
That is a gorilla.
Well how many fingers?
One tells me.
It looks like a potato, but that's his chest.
So if you want to try gorilla chest, I'm.
I'm leaning way.
Just make a potato.
Wait a minute.
He's thinking about something, He's thinking about a banana.
That's pretty cool.
That is pretty cool.
The banana is the world's most popular fruit.
We just like that the other day.
Yeah.
I remember, before the show, I was learning about that from Jack.
Jack's pretty amazing.
Like to tell us.
Well, that's pretty great.
Yeah, I and.
Yeah.
And now I'm feeling like I know how to draw a gorilla.
I basically just look at my Uncle Joe.
And then I draw potato on his chest.
Right.
And you got a gorilla.
Oh, yeah, I did that.
Yeah, I got follow.
What's your favorite.
Animal to draw?
I like to draw sheep.
I think they're fun because you basically draw, like a big ol cloud and then put some feet on it, and I. Yeah, like drawing sheep.
That's why.
Do you have a favorite animal you like to draw?
Frogs.
Frogs, rocks.
Yeah.
Yeah.
The little feet and then they're good.
And then I like to pretend they hot.
Purple lion likes to drop bikes.
Oh, wait, that was a bear.
Bear, I think.
I think the bike migh have been leftover from my game.
Hey, Cat.
Yeah.
Camping out camping.
They do, I do, I do like John cats.
I like John cats more than petting cats.
Yeah, I know someone who loves to draw snails too.
Why a cat, not a cat?
Cats are popular to draw.
Have you ever tried drawing a cat.
A little bit?
I got thrown off a little bi with the ears for some reason.
Quack quack quack.
That's me being a duck.
Did you think it was quite.
Close your eyes for a second.
Quack quack quack.
Hello.
Is it so?
A duck in the studio?
That's just me.
Oh, it's just me being a duck.
Hey.
It's fun.
Thanks for playing with the friends.
That's awesome.
Put your arms out.
Radius of this game.
Yeah.
We don't know what's going to happen until you tell us.
So right now, you got to choose door number one.
Door number two, door number three.
And then after you vote, we.
Find out what we're going to do next.
Yep.
I have my thing.
Well, if I was participating, I would choose number three.
That would be my vote.
I want to see last couple of times we've played this game, you've been right on track.
I'm going to say two.
Okay, let's find out.
Da da da da.
You were right again.
Hey.
Right.
He's the one of.
Your alien powers to send a signal to everybody's mind.
No no no no no.
Definitely not.
Oh, wait.
I can't go.
Who was it?
Somebody at the gold dish.
You're up!
Hahaha!
Good game everybody.
Yeah, that was fun.
Nicely done.
That was nice, Hi, friends.
Sparky and I wanted to play hide and seek.
You know that game where everyone hides and the seeker has to find them?
The problem was proven.
We weren't around, and we quickly realized that playing hide and seek with only two people isn't that much fun.
Seven, eight.
Nine.
Ten.
Ready or not, here I come.
I found you.
That's when we made up the idea to hide our toys.
We picked out a few brightly colored toys and took turns hiding them in a room.
One of us left the room while the other person hid all the toys.
It's a lot easier to find places to hide when you're only a few inches tall.
You're also a lot harder to find when you're that tiny.
To make the game easier, you can play with the rules.
That part of the toy has to be showing in plain sight.
Once all the toys are found, you switch places.
Now the seeker hides the toys and the hider seeks.
It's a lot of fun.
Do you like playing hide and seek?
What's your favorite game to play with?
A friend.
I love playing.
Hide and seek.
What prey go right?
Right.
I'm hiding.
I see you, I see you now.
I was hiding behind this folder here.
That was a. Pretty good spot.
Hey, we asked our friends, what's your best hiding spot for playing hide and seek?
I know I like to find a place that's very obvious, because sometimes I can just like, blend in with the trees.
You stand up against a tree like.
This, Where'd you go?
Oh, I see, I do notice.
I see you now.
Are you under a blanket?
That's another one, Yeah.
The hat.
Oh, seeker.
Oh, you just like.
Oh, he's like who?
Does any carry this curtain?
Yeah.
Oh.
The closet.
Oh, yeah.
That's a good one to answer.
Under the desk.
Yeah.
Just not much.
Yeah, we know it's.
We gotta remember those for later.
Yeah.
You know, I guess I'll, lik hiding under the laundry pile.
That's fine too.
Now, when it finds me, that happens.
Yeah, I would need a lot of.
Write this game we call.
What's in a name?
We give you a name.
Today's name is Von Standish.
Nice.
And he sounds okay.
Pointing.
And then you basically find out what what words can you find in the letters.
So in Spanish I see one stand s t a and d. Oh good job red elephant.
Yeah that's.
Right elephant.
Nice job H yeah I wonder if someone's.
Oh hand.
Yeah.
And was drying for us earlier.
Yeah.
In the name.
We're gonna keep looking.
Oh thanks.
Black squirrel d I s s. Yeah.
I think I know Black Square.
How are you doing, buddy?
Nice and.
S Oh, Sam.
Oh, another good.
One called there.
Nice job.
Oh.
Keep looking.
What?
Handstand.
And.
Oh.
Whoa, whoa.
Why and.
Why?
If you should get like three points for I'm going to give you three points for that.
We're four kinds of weird.
And what's in there too I think.
Right.
Yeah.
That's a word.
Oh I get the gist.
Gist is good.
Vance.
I used to have a pair of vans.
I don't know where they went.
Yeah.
Shoes.
Oh.
Yes.
That's perfect for having purple alligator head.
I, I mean, again, do you see me now?
Oh, Nash.
Nash.
Oh.
That's nice.
Hey, Rover.
Yeah.
Hey.
Oh, I see you hiding behind the fence.
I was I was in the tree again.
Yeah, yeah.
Not that's a busy one.
That's right.
One that I'm going to give me two points if I not.
That was a really good one.
Not not.
Oh tag you're it.
Oh.
All right.
Good job everybody.
Nice.
That was.
Fun.
Oh I got one.
Hot.
And rich.
How are you doing?
Good How are you doing?
Really good.
Hey.
Outstanding.
You still seeing bowling here all the time?
Oh, yeah.
It's cold nights a. Week and still playing guitar.
Absolutely.
Tell them I. Said I haven't seen him, but we'll do.
For sure.
But hey, so we're her at the Northfield Mines today.
And do you know what?
We're going to find out all kinds of things that we never know before.
So how many days a week are you open?
Seven days a week.
Seven days a week.
When do you get to rest?
Never.
Never.
Oh, no.
Wow.
That's not good.
Okay so you you probably have links.
In here, right?
Yes We have links seven days a week.
Seven days a week.
Why do people like bowling?
What?
I'm sorry.
What?
What is.
A league?
It's when a group of people get together as a team and they ball against other teams in competition.
Oh, but, Rover, we should be on the league.
Yeah, you should start a link for your uncle.
Start right now.
Okay, so, wait, how many pairs of shoes do you have here?
60.
I don't I'm not real sure.
Well, you know, it's interesting because I know you got lots of sizes.
I always have a hard time.
I have to wear one that are too big for me.
Right?
You got lots of sizes.
What happens?
It's like everybody who comes i is a size 11 at the same time.
Does that.
Happen?
Oh, absolutely.
All the time.
And then what do you do?
You give them a size lower, size bigger.
Yeah.
That's pretty nea I like them I like the colors.
But like I said you got to get by size.
I'm not sure what it is, but it's very small.
These ones maybe fit.
Yeah, I guess I could set those.
That might be cool Yeah, that's pretty comfortable.
Hey, I see, yeah, I think that might work.
Oh oh.
Oh, boy, oh, boy.
Oh, great.
I see it's a red one.
Oh, boy.
So rich.
This is crazy.
You got all these pins back here.
But it's like, are these kind of like, robots or something?
You pick up the pins for you?
No.
They're actual pin center that that do it manually for us.
Wow.
That's crazy, because I would imagine it would be hard to have someone back here picking up all the pins all day long, right?
That' what they used to do years ago.
They did?
How did they manage that?
Oh, very carefully.
Yeah.
I think that would be kind of dangerous.
Right, right.
Okay.
So the pins get knocked down, then this actually sets the pins up again.
And then how does the ball get back.
The ball gets bac from the back of the pin center.
It's got a big wheel that pushes it lifts it up and pushes it back to the front.
Wow.
So they're actually doing a lot of work.
Fine.
They do a lot of work for us.
Yes, that's pretty neat.
I never saw this before.
So, rich, how many bowling balls do you have here?
We probably have 70.
75.
Wow.
And I like I like all the colors.
There's lots of different colors of, different colors.
Or for the different weights.
Oh, the.
I was going to ask you that.
When do we start our league?
We're going to start next week.
Next week.
Okay.
How's one days for you?
One day.
One is work.
I think we can manage.
Oh, I' going to start bowling league.
I'm going to start practicing right now.
Oh.
Oh, so much fun.
Yeah.
We like to thank Rich and nice their for hosting us.
I thought that was so neat when we got to see behind because I've never seen how they set those pins.
I know that's pretty cool.
You get them all lined up and yeah, I didn't know.
I didn't know that the colors of the ball meant that.
How about you?
I know, and I think you get custom.
I think you can get if you really fancy.
Like we didn't start our league yet.
We got to get out of that.
But we asked our friends what color bowling ball would you choose if, you know you didn' have to worry about the weight?
Green and purple.
Yeah.
Sometimes I would have a hard time choosing.
I'd be like do I want the green?
The purple?
Maybe you could alternate green green to popular color.
What about you?
Right.
Purple.
I think I would choose something other than yello because I wouldn't want to get confused with my eye.
What did you see right there?
I was pretending to be a bowling ball.
Looks girl says orange.
Good job.
Oh, things.
Yeah, yeah.
All right.
Yeah, I think I think I would go red if I could.
Blue?
Yeah.
Bright fish says blue.
Yeah.
Do they ever have patterns on the bowling balls?
I think some of the fancy ones.
Yes, yes.
You want it says purple.
Purple, blue.
Oh.
All right.
Well, thanks for.
Playing with this, friends.
That was pretty neat.
Hey, it's time for another game.
What is it?
Well, what do you know?
It's.
What was.
It?
Yeah.
So the way we play, what is it?
Is we show you a shadow on the wall.
You have to tell us.
What is it?
What?
It's kind of.
Confusing.
Oh, what is it?
It might be somebody holding a chicken.
Oh, yeah, I can kind of see that way.
It is something.
Oh, man.
Is that a garden tool?
Maybe.
Looks like maybe something you could use in a garden.
I don't know, this is a pretty tricky one.
Oh, I still think.
We have cast the shadow on the wall.
And you have to tell us.
Oh, a glove.
Yeah, I can see that.
Like, maybe a dishwashing glove that looks like those long gloves, a chicken.
Yep.
See, somebody thought the same thing is you right?
Is that chicken?
A fork?
Yeah, that could be a fork.
As if it's not a fork.
Means on it.
Maybe you work as a board.
A hand that's follows, like the glove thing, right?
It could be a hand out of a glove.
I forgot.
I can see that it looks like a chicken for chicken.
Chicken thing.
I'm seeing it all now.
Yeah.
Oh.
Oh, puppet.
That is.
I love puppets.
Yeah, this one is.
Kind of tricky.
Rocket, are you sure you look like that, right?
No.
That's, Now, mine is a little more round with a little bit of, some, Yeah, it's it's it's.
No, it's it's different.
Yeah.
I guess I'm gonna.
Go with Chicken.
Foot.
It looks like a chicken foot to me, too.
But where's the other foot?
Well, maybe they just like hanging their foot over a ledge or something like that.
Yeah.
All right so I don't think anybody got it.
I guess we're going to do the reveal.
So here's what it was.
What is it?
Oh, wait.
Oh, that's a giraffe.
That's a deer.
Wait.
No, wait a minute.
Is it.
He's kind of hanging upside down though I think that's man made a little trickier.
Yeah that was a good guess everybody.
That one was kind of tough.
Come on, show me a chicken.
I'm not convinced that.
Hey, time for a joke, What do you call a cow in space?
What do you call a cow in space?
The Milky Way.
That that Milky way.
I love it.
Did you know that one, right?
That's right, that's right up your alley.
Did you know that one?
Yeah, that's the classic.
When I was growing up, that was one of our favorites to tell in school.
I betcha.
All right.
Hey, it's time for.
A quick question.
Jar.
Jar jar.
What what, what I'm preparing.
I. All right, I'm ready.
Some tasks to complete in just two minutes.
Okay.
Today.
How many people are in the room you're in right now?
I look then what is the age of the youngest person in the room, And then give us both those answers and then send it to us as an equation.
All right, I'm gonna look around.
Why can't.
It's just.
Oh, wait.
Are we counting o everybody in the studio?
Yeah.
Everybody counts.
Okay.
One, two, three, four.
Five, 15.
That it's.
Anybody upstairs?
Hey, Bumblebee are you around here?
All right.
Mark, nice for.
Let's go.
Oh, check to see if Jack is.
Jack is probably back behind in the break room.
Yeah, I got Baby Bumblebee here with me.
So there's the color.
And then we add who's age I. Think baby Bumblebee, the youngest person.
Baby bumblebee.
Youngest person who's the youngest.
Oh.
And B yes, I guess it could be five, three, three.
Okay, baby.
Oh, no.
Of us.
Yeah.
Three.
Two plus three is five.
All right, we did it.
Took us.
5.
Or 6 of us.
Okay, wait.
World three.
Three.
Three.
Six six.
Oh, that's funny.
33362.
Oh.
Purple at 147.
That's a.
45.
748.
Got that.
Nice.
Red fish.
162119.
Oh yeah.
Outfit that.
There's nobody in the room 12.
Wait a minute I don't one of the 12 come from.
I'm not you.
Maybe.
Justin that's no math.
Okay.
1771277 purple lion.
I'm purple lion.
Hooray!
Good job.
Hey, everybody's pretty goo at math, though, I got to say.
Yeah All right.
So, baby Bumblebee.
Yeah How how old are you in b years?
Three.
Three and B his.
How does that equate to, Squirrel?
Yes.
Do you know, I'm not sure what the.
Conversion is on that.
Yeah, I'm not sure.
What the conversion is on that either.
We're going to have to do some, some research.
On that.
I think Jack might know.
Yeah, Jack Jack knows a lot of stuff off.
That's the thing.
Yeah.
I hate to ask him.
Oh, yeah, I forgot.
Hey, Jack.
Yeah.
How how many, bumblebee years relate to squirrel years?
Bumblebee to squirrel conversion?
Carry the five, move three over to the one divided by six is six.
I'm not really sure.
I'm gonna hav to get back to you on that one.
Maybe I can let you know next week.
Yeah.
Go check out the library abou our friends at Cardinal or JPL.
They know a lot.
All right, well, thanks for playing with this, friends.
That was a really fun show.
I'm glad you were here, baby.
Bumblebee.
I'm glad that your three and baby Bumblebee.
Yes, and maybe Jack let us know what that means next week.
All right.
But, friends, hope you had fun.
If you did have fun.
Tell a friend we'd love to play with you again next week.
And it's always more fun with friends.
We're glad you're here.
Did you open them up?
And your friends?
Your friends are my friends.
