I'm so glad you're here.
Oh man.
We've got a great show.
It's always a great show.
Hey, Miss Stephanie's backstage right now.
I've got a question for her.
Hi, Miss Stephanie.
- Hi Wimee.
- Got a question.
- Okay.
- What is something that you, it's like one of your favorite meals that someone else makes?
- Ooh - What do you think?
- So I do most of the cooking, in our family - But when you go and travel or go to friends or family.
Maybe at a holiday gathering.
Is there anything that you look forward to?
Like, oh I hope so and so makes this or at anywhere in the community?
- Yeah well, my sister makes a really good delicious lentil pea soup, and I really like that.
- Lentil pea soup.
I would love to try that.
Thanks Miss Stephanie.
Ho-ho, same question.
Brody's with us today.
Hey, Bro...
Wait a minute.
Oh, Brody's cookbook.
Brody are you there?
Brody.
Oh, there you... You're up buddy.
- Hi Wimee.
- What recipes you got there?
- Well, these are my secret recipes.
So you'd have to come to one of my potlucks to find out what they are.
- Oh, I'll do it.
I would love to.
I'll plan on it.
Okay.
So question, what is one of your favorite meals that someone else makes maybe?
'Cause you got recipes in there, but a different recipe.
Any favorites?
- I think it's my grandpa's pancakes.
- Pancakes.
Oh, do you like maple syrup or what do you put on it?
- Yeah, I put maple syrup up on it.
- Good stuff.
Good stuff.
Thanks Brody.
We'll see you in a bit.
Okay.
Friends.
Let's let's get rolling into the song here.
Okay, share with us something that is one of your favorite things that you, we've been talking about other things you like but what is something that you would bring to a potluck?
For example, potato salad.
I like to eat, eat, eat potato salad.
I like to eat, eat, eat potato salad.
I like to eat, eat, eat potato salad.
I love this song.
It's it's apples and bananas.
Then it gets all silly with the pronunciations.
Oh, it's a silly song.
Today though we're going to put all kinds of different foods in here.
Let's go to Brody.
Brody, what's something you, maybe it's from your secret recipe, what would you bring to a potluck?
- My grandma's mashed potatoes - Mashed potatoes.
I like to eat, eat, eat Brody's grandma's mashed potatoes.
I actually haven't had 'em so I'm pretending right now.
I like to eat, eat, eat Brody's grandma's mash potatoes.
Oh, I could change the words.
Instead of saying I to eat.
I'll just say, I'd like to eat.
Why did I think of that before?
Oh, I'd like to eat, eat, eat Andrea's pie.
I'd like to eat... Is it strawberry?
Is it blueberry?
I need more details.
I want to know more details to that pie.
I like to eat, eat, eat lots of squash.
I to eat, eat, eat spinach salad.
I'd like to eat, eat, eat fruit salad.
I'd like to eat, eat, eat grandpas pancakes.
I'd like to eat, eat, eat lots of turkey.
Oh man, so many great ideas.
Friends, let's go see what Moby's going to share with us today.
(upbeat music) - I was just reading that a potluck is a meal with guests.
But each guest brings a part of the meal for the other guests to share.
So to chance or luck, what will be in each pot because each guest decides what they would like to make.
Yeah, at mealtime everyone gets to try all the foods that everyone has brought along.
Ha ha.
I hope someone decides to make a dessert.
Mm.
Have you ever been to a potluck?
What food would you bring to a potluck?
And I just love, they have the little signs on there that says what's in it.
That's really thoughtful if you add what's in it.
Yeah.
Oh, look at that.
Rice, broccoli.
(upbeat music) - That is so, that is so cool.
Okay friends, it's time for today's 1, 2, Three Sentence Story.
Let's read a story in three sentences.
In the first sentence, I set the scene.
In the second sentence, there is a problem.
(Wimee sobbing) But don't worry friends, in the third sentence there is a solution.
So in the first sentence let's see where things begin.
Tell us a person place or thing.
Also known as nouns.
We'll establish things at the start.
But then the problem and the, like I said, the solution.
Hey Brody, any word at all?
Any word at all?
I don't know yet till right now what word are you thinking of?
- A lizard.
- Lizard.
A lizard.
Got it, thanks Brody.
Okay, our story has got something to do with a lizard.
Okay.
Let me think about it.
My friend, Bob, the lizard and I got together for breakfast this fine morning.
Ha-ha-ha-ha.
Yeah.
What do you think of that?
You know Bob and I we're just hanging out and going to have some breakfast.
But oh no friends, there's is a problem.
Boo-boo boo-boo.
Friends share with us a word that will inspire the problem for... Oh, Grace says cow.
Thanks grace.
I like it.
Okay.
Let's see here.
Back to the start.
My friend, Bob, the Lizard and I sat down this morning to have some breakfast.
Suddenly I realized, oh no I forgot to invite Henrietta the cow.
Oh no.
I had talked about it earlier but I forgot to let Henrietta know.
This is a problem.
I feel sad.
I know that... Ha-ha-ha-ha.

Oh, I'm so glad that you're visiting on the show.
Thanks friends.
Come back anytime.

I love it.
Okay.
So we've got this little, you know maybe I'm thinking this through even more.
I like this, 'cause it's a potluck, right?
We need more than just Bob the lizard and Henrietta the cow.
We gotta invite everybody.
So the problem is I forgot to invite a wolf and a cow and the whole neighborhood.
I forgot to send out the invitations.
Wimage Board look at this.
We've got the lizard.
We've got Henrietta the cow.
We're going to have breakfast potluck.
We gotta let everybody know.
So how do we solve this problem?
How do we communicate to everybody that there's a potluck?
Boat.
The solution friends it's got to do with a boat.
I love it.
I love it.
Okay.
Okay, okay.
Let's see.

I love it.
We got a big, oh this is like stone soup.

Let me see.
Here we go.
My friend, Bob, the lizard and I were getting together to have breakfast.
I realized, oh no, I got to invite Henrietta the cow, the wolfs, the, all the neighbors, all the friends.
I decided to hop right away on my flying boat.
And I flew around the neighborhood and picked everybody up for potluck.
I think it got, it got rescheduled to call it brunch.
'Cause we got delayed a little bit.
So breakfast became brunch.
Ooh, octopus indeed.
Everybody's invited.
So Wimage Board we'll check back with you to see all the friends that are invited to the brunch potluck.
Woo woo.
