When Virgil and Jeanne Batesole built their home on his family homestead near the western shore of Lake Agnes in Alexandria, Minnesota, they were looking to create a memorable landscape design that integrated their elevated yard. Virgil gives host Larry Zilliox a tour of the many features he has developed, including a quilt garden, statuary and a manmade lake.
