BOTH: Whoo-hoo!
(Chattering) BOTH: Hello!
(Chattering) (Giggling) (Blowing bubbles) Wow, those Things sure make nice bubbles.
We're looking for a surface that a bubble can land on without popping.
Can you help?
Yeah!
Yeah!
Yeah!
(Chattering, indistinct) Whoo-hoo!
(Chattering) (Groaning) Ta-da!
(Chattering) Uh-oh!
Whoo-hoo!
Oh?
Oh, no!
How are you going to keep track of all those bubbles?
Everyone spread out and watch how long the bubbles last on different surfaces.
NICK: That suit of armor looks kind of bumpy, but it's clean.
So, maybe a bubble will land without popping.
(Popping) Nope.
(Gasping) Not a cactus!
It's gonna pop, for sure!
(Popping) Yup.
Sharp, pointy surfaces definitely don't work!
Well, I think we've learned one thing.
Is that so?
What do you know?
Smooth, clean surfaces hold bubbles the longest.
We still haven't found anything that'll catch a bubble forever.
(Gasping) Oh, Nick!
Sally!
You want to look over here?
(Gurgling) What was that?
It's me, Fish!
(Gurgling) (Gasping) Look at that bubble!
It's lasting a long time.
(Popping) BOTH: Aw!
I'm sorry your bubble popped.
It's okay.
We looked everywhere for the best way to catch a bubble, and it was right there all the time!
Fish's water!
Now, we know that smooth, clean surfaces are pretty good, but your water is the best yet!
The water surface is clean and smooth like the platter!
But it's also wet.
And bubbles are kind of wet, too!
That could be why it lasted longer.
So, wetter is better!
(Laughing) (Gasping) Look at that!
This bubble is lasting a really long time.
A bubble landed on the soapy stuff, and it hasn't popped yet.
So, there's one surface that's even better for bubbles than just water.
Soapy water!
